Revisited The Old Hall Inn for a pub lunch after a couple of years. Delighted to see the standard has been maintained. Friendly service, wide range of well-cooked dishes and last but by no means least: superbly kept Tim Taylor's Ale. Added bonus is a fabulous ancient fire place complete with a great, bright furnace of a fire. Good atmosphere...

To be honest after we had booked and we read a few more reviews we began to wonder if we had done the right thing but we need not have worried, the inn looked lovely from the outside and very characterful on the inside, we were greeted and served by a lovely young lady behind the bar and we were...

Booked 3 rooms for the night - we were placed in the adjoining cottage and found all 3 rooms well presented and clean -- slight difference in sizes of the rooms - but absolutely satisfactory for our needs. Slightly creaky floorboards from rooms above - but easily got off to sleep. Looked in on the bar on the evening of...

Had a very good weekend staying at this pub with adult family and dog. The food was excellent, the rooms were very clean, staff were friendly. Ideal location for visiting the Dales, some really nice walks in the area.

We visited this pub twice in the four days we stayed nearby. The food was very good and plenty of it. They have a gin and whiskey list which was comprehensive and fun to sample! Barman was very friendly and dog was made welcome. Prices were on the upper end of reasonable.

On the whole we had a good stay here. Staff were friendly and the food was good. The room we had though was tired. The wallpaper behind the bed by the window was showing signs of damp and coming away. The walls don't mask the other guests noises. The shower room was definitely in need of some TLC. The toilet...
