We were hiking the Tour of Mount Blanc and arrived hungry and ready for a day of rest. This was the perfect place. The accommodations and food were outstanding. The view is beautiful, it's a short walk downtown, proprietors are friendly and speak English. We are still talking about the amazing dinners 4 months later and would return in a...

We loved our stay at this delightful hotel. The owners are so friendly. We stayed here during our hike of the TMB. We arrived hungry because the restaurants in the villages along the way were closed that particular day. Marlene, the hostess, offered to serve us dinner earlier than their scheduled dinner hours. Her husband is the chef and his...

My wife and I spent 2 days here during our 12 day TMB hike. Just a great experience. The rooms are quite nice and comfortable. The location is right off the TMB with great valley views. Marlene and her husband are excellent hosts and the 2 dinners we had here were the best (so far after 10 days) we have...

Awesome management at the Alpina! Dinner was stupendous. Got a double room with the girlfriend. Our friends told us the dinner (3 course- first, main, dessert-no beverages included) of 45chf was cheaper than a three course meal at another restaurant (54chf). The husband of the Fink desk lady was the chef and we had an amazing meal! The room was...

Walking from Chamonix to Zermatt. Reached here after two days of walking. The welcome and comfort and views were everything an exhausted, footsore traveller could want and the food, good grief, where do I start with that. Wonderful. If you get the chance, stay here. Really beautiful.

What a hotel - this has to be one of the best kept secrets in the Alps. Billed as being in the foothills of Mont Blanc (never really knew as I couldn't find Mont Blanc), but wow - what a location, Mont blanc or otherwise. We arrived just as it was getting dark, having would our way through very windy...

We came across the Alpina completely by chance - going by the Tripadvisor ratings. They were all spot on! We were on honeymoon in September 2014, hiking the TDMB and Alpina was our haven. We were welcomed with a mini bottle of chilled champagne, amazing food, beautiful rest and recouperation and a fabulously friendly, cosy atmosphere. Spotlessly clean, quiet, calm,...

We stayed at this hotel during our Haute Route hike and enjoyed it very much. We just wished we had more time to enjoy relaxing on the deck as it was very peaceful and the hotel has sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Marlena, our host, was lovely. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. We had...

We stayed here for two nights whilst walking TMB. Wonderful little hotel, perched on hillside with amazing views of Grand Combin and also up the Val Ferret. Very warm welcome from Marlene , the owner. Amazing food cooked by her husband. Champex, beautiful village by lake and thoroughly enjoyed a rest day here. Would highly recommend staying here. Just off...
