I was lucky enough to stay with my little boy at the Hotel de Moiry last week and we could not have been happier and better looked after, IT IS A GREAT PLACE! We were able to enjoy the beautiful hotel and its friendly staff and owners. We were very surprised at a previous negative remark about the hotels dining...

I have NEVER written a review whilst I have stayed or eaten somewhere. Tonight I feel differently because we have been made to feel like second class citizens. We booked this hotel in the summer of 2016 because our family was coming here and we wanted to be here also. We arrived yesterday and have a lovely room at the...

Hello, We are very sorry, but last night we made an unique exception, so that our half-board guests could eat raclette from the wood fire, which is very exclusive in Grimentz. Normally, our guests appreciate this and do not complain. If you do not like our dining room which we have built with a lot of love, with wooden sculptures...

We have been there just for an evening in October. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions. The rooms are very cosy (it could just be improved with a kettle to make tea but thats detail) and the view is stunning. Really well located there is a lot of hikes near by. Make sure you dont...

I had a stinking cold when I arrived so relished the comfortable beds and cosy, wood panelled room. Stayed 3 nights and only at the end did I get the full aroma of this place - woodsmoke, cheese and smoked meat (maybe some vegetarians wouldn't care for that). Restaurant is charming with the roaring fire and the staff were all...

The Grimentz/Zinal ski region in Switzerland is not greatly known by British skiers. Of course it is superb but the icing on the cake was our Hotel Restaurant Moiry. A five night break for extended family , chaotically organised was of no problem to the phlegmatic family owners. A lovely old wooden structure at the far end of the ancient...

Hotel de Moiry was a one-night stop on our Haute Route Hike. After a long day hiking, all I wanted was an elevator to get me and my bags to my room on the top floor, and a nice hot shower. Unfortunately, the hotel has neither a lift nor a bellman to help with bags. Uh oh, I don't travel...

Initially striking as a simple pension our trip was fulfilled at Moiry which had super clean accomodation and the finest food for miles......A must return again! The proprietors and staff were delightful and could not do enough. The location is perfect involving a delightful ten minute walk up the village through beautiful old wooden buildings to the cable car and...

We had a week here. 3 of us shared a room (our teenage son), which worked out well. The room was a good size at the front of the hotel so we extended in to the covered balcony at the front. We had half board and the breakfasts were delicious - fruit, yoghurt, fresh breads, cheese and meat. The evening...

Absolutely loved this town. We had a rest day here and glad we did. Go to tourist office and get the Historic information regarding the self guided tour of town, fantastic. We loved this stop. We were on full board, and seemed to get less service because if it and seated in less than prime tables even though the prime...
