We didn't stay in this hotel but visited it upon the recommendation of a friend. We ate lunch here and enjoyed the scenery. I had a roesti dish and my wife had pasta. The food was very good and the setting outside the hotel was wonderful. This is a great place for wandering in the mountains. Hope to visit when...

There was a little problem with the e-mails, but after I called them by phone everything goes fine. We walked from Lauchernalp to Fafleralp. The stay was very pleasant. Room big with en suite bathroom. Wifi available. Was told Wifi only worked in the lobby and the restaurant, but we found it worked well in our room on the first...

Beautiful wooden old hotel at the end of the road in the mountains. While hiking we picked berries and saw beautiful wild flowers. Hotel: No wifi, total disconnect. Comfy mattress, delicious muesli and more for breakfast. When I imagine peace and quiet this is it! Alittle pricey but worth it!

I loved this place. The area is lovrly situated at the end of the road and the start of some hiking into the mountains. My room was lovely with soft memory foam mattress. Staff were all very nice and accommodating.

Our third trip to Fafleralp was as wonderful as the first. Friendly service, copious mountain portions of simple food, good buffet breakfast. The rooms still look new. Totally relaxing, jsut you and the mountains with no car access in the winter. Beautiful valley, without hordes of tourists. Come to enjoy the beauty of nature. If you can, come during a...

Renovated rooms, a little small but with all the essentials. Good, modern bathrooms. Well-heated. In the winter, the hotel is an easy 1 hour's walk on a snowy path- there is no direct road access, though they will arrange for luggage transfers. Well worth the effort- utter tranquility and a true winter wonderland. Very friendly family owners, the food is...

We really enjoyed staying at this old chalet hotel. While the rooms are a bit spartan, they are large with a good bathroom. The beds were comfortable, and the entire area is very quiet and peaceful. The food was good mountain fare, and the local wines were excellent. The best part of the stay was sitting outside with a good...

The Fafleralp is an oasis in the Swiss alps. Located in the middle of a little lark forest, surrounded by the mountains in a car free area. Pure nature. The hotel has renovated quite all rooms only with wood and stone. You feel like at home. There are three suites. One has a whirl pool and the other one a...
