We just got back from three nights at Bon Ton, I am pleased beyond word with this resort and the staff. For those who expect a 5 start hotel in the big opulent style of a chain... go somewhere else and leave this paradise to those with taste. The traditional architecture makes you think of the original Balinese buildings, we...

Wow! we had a recommendation from both a driver to a sunset cruise and then our helitour pilot, so decided to pop In for dinner.... so worth it. Narelle the Australian owner has made an extraordinary place of rooms made of local historic huts. Lots of cats and minor birds. Amazing ambience and service is hard to beat... don't be...

Really old buildings, could be described as quaint, but not at the high price asked for, and is vastly overstated in the online profile. Holes in floor and walls, mosquitos, dogs at hotel as part of charity barking a lot. The restaurant food is exciting on paper but missing on taste - so 15 to 20 years ago. Quarter the...

We have spent 3 nights in Bon Ton and it was the best accommodation we have ever had. It was calm, relaxing and lovely place with wildlife in front of our doors. We stayed in Palm villa which is an old traditional wooden house with luxurious bathroom and bed. We had a small coffee table on our porch where we...

We inquired a stay for 5 nights, only 2 nights was possible ... and we were not sad to leave after 2 nights. The idea of the old Malay houses is nice when the property is situated inland surrounded by rural nature and paddy fields. Unfortunately Bon Ton is situated near the airport and the whole day there are arrivals...

We stayed 3 night in the Bon Ton ( Villa Laguna) in March then did 3 nights in the north at a beach resort to chill before finishing a ten day tour (Singapore, Penang and Langkawi) . If you don't like cats this is not the place for you. If you like different experiences, rustic, enchanting atmosphere and making memories...

We lived 3 days in BonTon's Cahaya villa and as early bookers paid quite high price for it. The resort is something you cannot experience maybe anywhere else. If you are searching for a typical 4-5-star holiday resort, don't go. But if you are curious and ready for a totally unique experience in a very discreetly modernized 100-year-old "living museum",...

The staff was friendly and helpful. It is not an ordinary hotel they're wooden charming houses. It has a different taste as it combines simplicity with luxury. The breakfast delivered the night before in the fridge, limited quantities and limited options, however it was delicious. Overall, it was amazing stay for both my partner and I.

Either you love or you hate this place. Just like previous comments. But traveled as couples, I definitely love this place. We stayed at Temple Bon Ton - Estate 2 (Upgraded from Plantation 2) for 4 nights. It was a treat for my partner's birthday. Thanks to Fara and the team who arranged everything for us. Much appreciated. Temple Tree...
