We are here again because the 3D2N here in 2011 was memorable. However, BLR is to our great disappointment this time, even though there is new facilities, including a ferry terminal right inside the resort. Food: Expensive! They boast 14 F&B outlets. But we still felt a shortage of choices. In fact, a few of the 14 are kinda part...

Perfect pool Perfect ocean Great service, staff friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a simple holiday, its a great place. We stayed in a villa which was basic but clean and comfy. Reminiscent of many 1990's resorts. Main building for breakfast and buffet etc. its dated, but they say they are upgrading. Singapore prices for food and drink. We...

We stayed in a sea view room which had fantastic views of the ocean. The resort in itself was huge but definitely not value for money. Be it the ice creams, the restaurants, or even the normal activities, they were very very expensive. Don't go by their currency as what they have priced is almost as expensive as dining in...

It's been almost 9 years since I last visited Bintan Lagoon and it still feels like the resort of my childhood. I do like the new additions such as the private ferry terminal, which makes immigration so much easier, and Nelayan, the beachside restaurant with its unparalleled views. The hotel staff are polite and friendly. However, there are many parts...

I will split this review in two - first being prices. Without sounding boastful we have been lucky enough to travel to many amazing places in this world. Bintan Lagoon would have to be the MOST expensive place we have ever stayed. The ridiculous charges for drinks and food are beyond me. The fact that a 330ml can of coke...

We were supposed to stay there for two nights but checked after after first night. The first day we entered the room, a rusty smell and moldy floor greeted us. There were orange and grey stains on the bed sheet too, with a strange smell on the pillows. The toilet was the worse as the flooring was dirty and the...

Where do I start? This hotel may have been a 5 star hotel around 20 years ago but not any more very rough around the edge! $10 for a small glass of beer $5.50 for a small can of soda I could go on! The restaurants are very average not great food but then I am from Melbourne And know...

Two years ago we stayed at the BLR on a golfing weekend and it was desperate, miserable staff, poor service etc. The lure of good golf and a low midweek rate brought us back with low expectations. So what's changed? Starting with the positives, the staff are friendlier and do want to help. When our wall mounted TV refused to...

First time to take a vacation in Bintan Lagoon Resort. It was a short 2-day stay but enjoyable and relaxing indeed. Firstly, the resort is only 1.5 hours away from Singapore via ferry which had fairly good comfortable seats with in-flight entertainment. This resort has its own ferry terminal, exclusive for its guests, and it is only a 2-minute walk...

Our family and friends are staying at BLR at the moment and are disgusted with the service/lack of communication from staff and also the prices of food and drink within the resort! The quality of the food is well below average for what you pay. These are the main issues we have along with many other problems we have encountered...
