Be careful while selecting rooms as deluxe rooms are backside facing with no pool view and the reception manager is very rigid and cold in his approach. Restaurant n house keeping staffs are good. *** stars,one for restaurant one for housekeeping and one for internal ambience of the resort.

The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The front desk staff all were professional and pleasant. It is a well designed & well maintained property. Varca beach is only at walking distance where we had so much fun while doing watersports. It's a good place for a family for relaxing mood.

Excellent Services, Beautiful Amenities and Good location (5-10 mins walk from the varca beach). The hotel is clean and well maintained. Good selection of food and drinks as well. The hotel has good ambiance and the staff is very helpful will definitely recommend this to others. Food was awesome, service was great and nice clean property. I am definitely coming back again to Goa and will stay in this resort. Overall I'm happy with the services.

My sister and I stayed here with a group of friends for a wedding. While the rooms are not very nice themselves, we were clearly given one of the worst rooms in the hotel.It smelled like an ashtray, had questionable stains everywhere, had a broken showerhead, no hot water, no fridge and a broken safe. The sheets also felt really dirty and were doused in a really strong musty cologne. My sister and I felt disgusted to sleep on the sheets and I have suspicion to believe they were not washed. When we mentioned our discomfort with the room, we were told there was nothing they could do for us because the whole hotel was booked. Later, they came by with a spray bottle to “clean” the room and on another occasion with a bucket of hot water. After staying there one night we quickly looked for a new place to stay and found a better hotel called Joecons about a mile away. Once we informed them we were leaving, they only then began desperately offering us a better room. We were not interested because they did nothing to help us the day before and we were genuinely disgusted by the room and the absurd service.We demanded a refund but the lady at the front desk said it was not possible and continued telling us to sit down and wait, for what, I don’t know. She even had the audacity to laugh at us when I explained the condition of the room. When they went to go verify if the room was in bad condition which in itself is ridiculous, they in fact confirmed that there was no hot water and were informed that they had a problem with hot water at the hotel overall. Great, but that’s not our problem. In the end, they refused to give us a refund or offer any sort of discount. Oh, I didn’t even mention that they forced us to pay for the mandatory New Years gala which was 70 US dollars and had terrible food, definitely not worth 70 dollars.Unless you want to be scammed do not stay here. They do not care about your stay. I assume they will leave a apologetic message discounting or arguing with my points here, which is absolutely ridiculous. It was the worst hotel room and hotel service I have ever experienced.

We were 3 families and pre-booked the property due to claimed proximity with Varca Beach. The Resort failed in each and every parameter to serve guests, and not on we were suffering, guests frustrated and angry over services were seen everywhere in the property from reception to common areas.
Staff neither well trained nor well behaved. Pool not well maintained, Cleanliness at it's lowest standard in and out of Room. Everything overpriced compared to standard of Hotel. Just a secluded part of beach is nearby which is not worth and bit scary to visit in after-hours

We had a fantastic time at Regenta Hotel in Varca, visited First Week of March for 3 Nights.
Varca Beach only 2 minutes away.So clean & surrounded by decent vacationers. Whether With family, or couple enjoying honeymoon, right place.
Hotel gives you best value for money. Rooms are much better then what rate you pay for equivalent. Well Maintained, & Spacious for time we spent in Room.
Being Training manager by Profession closely observed the attitude of staff & They are brilliant. Famous 5 star hotels should take lesson from staff here. Staff genuinely care about Guest, have high energy & are spontaneous. Stars of Place ,i guess their names Koshin, Praveen from F&B,Gaurish, Paella of HK, Kamal, Madhur, Diwakar from Reception.
You pay absolute Peanuts for availing breakfast & Dinner option. Beverages in Bar & Room service also very cheap. Quality of food,Buffet Spread was huge.
Me & My Wife had great time choosing to vacation in this Hotel despite reading negative reviews of some people ( seems done deliberately).
Finally Operations Manager Shoumick was also very warm in conversation.
Our Room Number was 2003.
Good luck Guys. I had booked through AGODA. Taken Train trip to madgaon from mumbai, To & Fro.

I visited this place with 3 friends to celebrate my birthday. It's located in south goa. We booked 2 deluxe air-conditioned rooms. Both the rooms were pool facing. The resort was located near the varca beach. The room & washrooms were neat & clean as they maintained the hygiene in the resort. Food was good. The staff at the reception were really courteous& friendly. Enjoyed swimming in the pool. Overall had a pleasant and comfortable stay. It was a memorable experience at this resort.

We Stayed here in December 1st week. We booked it considering that it is a 'Royal Orchid' group hotel. However everything is just terrible about them. If I can think one good about them it may be the breakfast.. Which was good but everything else was so so bad. Location is bad. Rooms are bad. Property is bad. Staff is bad.
It is not even worth 1K per night.

Hi!
Distance from Madgaon to Regenta Resort is about 10 KM. You will have to hire a taxi. Thats the only convenient mode of travel. Check in timings are 2 pm and check out time 12 noon most probably.

I could rent bikes, but not cars for self drive
I depended totally on the taxis that were parked outside the resort.
They have a standard charge for a day/ half day trips
Those guys are generally flexible and can accommodate some of your additional requests or detours
