We enjoyed our stay, which was for a week. The hotel and grounds are kept very clean including the pool. It is conveniently located off the main Palermo to Agrigento road and in beautiful surroundings. There were weddings almost every night but we were not disturbed at all. The breakfasts were a little disappointing being variable with what was on offer. But rooms are large and a fridge is provided so you can put your own water or drinks in. One thing you need to know is that the sign for the hotel is past the turn off. When you see the sign for 500m to hotel turn left down the lane before the sign. It is actually about 1km from here.
We visited family they booked the restaurant it was delicious plenty of food and able to cater for food allergies. Beautiful grounds clean and tidy. The gardens are perfect. Plenty of parking, you need to book this venue.
Like most hotels in Sicily non-guests can use the pool and facilities for a fee. Set aside from the hotel it's free parking. The pool has not been here long but is very clean and you can relax with a view of the mountains. Shallow end for kids but it does get a lot deeper at one end about 8 foot deep. It's marked by red stickers for deep and green stickers for shallow. Both my boys of 7yrs and 5 yrs were fine. You can pay for half day or full day. Beds are a bit uncomfortable could do with some padding. Plenty of beds and quiter. Not like the noisy pool down the road at the other hotel. This one is still relatively unknown. Good relaxing day. Facilities are 4*.
This hotel is very noisy. The sound transmitted between rooms was enough to wake the dead. We could hear the soap being dropped in the shower in the room next to ours..repeatedly! Every furniture movement was loud. The breakfast was awful..how do you burn scrambled eggs? The pros are..clean, spacious and it was a beautiful location!
My partner and I enjoyed five nights at this hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed with a rustic charm. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a good choice of food and unlimited coffee. We ate dinner in the hotel on a couple of occasions and could not fault the food. We look forward the returning. The only disappointment was that the swimming pool is not ready for use.
We could not believe it: what an adventurous journey to the Casale Margherita, but what a stunning location. Outstandingly beautiful, looks like it had been built centuries ago, like a fortress. Nice and cool climate of the mountains, fresh air. They produce superb cheese on the estate. And the food left nothing to desire. We will come again.
I have spent two weeks at the hotel for my sisters wedding. All of our friends and family stayed with us. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. The lovely staff made sure that we had a visit to remember. We dined in the hotel on a couple of occasions and the food was exceptional. We look forward to coming back
My colleague and I stayed at the Cassale Margherita hotel for a week in late August. The rooms were spotless, the staff were incredibly helpful, the price was extremely cheap, the views were spectacular and the food was fantastic. There were also some beautiful local towns to visit. If you require accomodation in this part of the island I would strongly recommend that you try this hotel.
We spent 6 nights here week before last whilst on business. The hotel is fairly new and very clean. The room had everything we needed including air conditioning (that worked well) and the staff were exceptionally pleasant & very helpful. It would make a great base for touring the local area for a longer stay if needed. Breakfast & dinner was good and well above expectations being freshly prepared each day. Great place, super staff and a beautiful setting. Plus WiFi in reception/lounge. Corleone is also a fairly short drive away. Hope to be back soon.
We spent one night at this hotel, while visiting Cammarata for a wedding. I defenitely recommend people to stay at this hotel: it is quite new and very clean. The room was very big, with a large bathroom (the only thing missing is a minibar fridge inside) and clean with perfectly working AC unit. The breakfast was good though not with a big selection of food. A plus was that the breakfast was available until 11.30am. The owners and the front desk people were really nice providing us information and very friendly. If you need to stop in Cammarata I strongly suggest you this place.
