Really enjoyed my stay here with my family so relaxing and peaceful rooms were really clean bathrooms were brand new and a true gem. Can't wait to return again with out kids next time. I recommend that you have navigation before you try finding this place that was the the only thing I can recommend to do differently.

The room we stayed in was quite small but the room and the castle are beautiful, with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. The abandoned church above the castle and the surrounding fields of olive trees add to the delightful atmosphere.

Be sure to stay in Castello di Mammoli for the full expereince. The sister property Villa Volpi is where you will have breakfast (and maybe dinner) but the lodging and setting of Mammoli are superb. We stayed in an upstairs room that had a window in the bathroom and windows on 2 sides of the room that we kept open...

My friend Cath and I arrived without a reservation only to be welcomed by Adrianna and Marco....both were so courteous and helpful. We stayed three nights and we called it "Heaven on Earth". It was peaceful, calm yet not boring. I'm was pretty central for us to go to Pisa and also Cinque Terre for day trips. We had dinners...

This hotel is tucked away and so beware, it's hard to find! However, once we got there it was perfectly situated in rolling tuscan hills which could be seen from every window and even from the pool. The bedroom was well equipped, the service was good (although on occasion slow) and everything was very well decorated and comfortable. We ate...

Lovely location, spacious rooms. Lukewarm reception, disinterested management, mediocre breakfast, total lack of personal attention. Why bother, you will pay your bill was the attitude. Why bother going back or indeed going in the first place. Too many other much better options in beautiful Lucca.

Hard to find, I had to put "via di mammoli" in my tomtom to get within 1/2 kilometre of the place as it did'nt show up on the satnav. there are co-ordinates on their site which may work better but I had just purchased the satnav and wasn't that used to it yet. We were actually put in the nearby...

Great place with a stunning view, fresh in summer. In my view 3 points of attention you need to keep in mind: 1) there are 3 separate locations where you can be accomodated (one is an annex of Villa Volpi); in our case no one told us in advance where we were lodged, so we had to go around before...
