We arrived on Friday 25th November, all six of SkiDevon! Met with a log fire, obliging, helpful staff and shown to three lovely rooms. One of which was an attic room. This wasn't a problem for our couple but would be for taller people. Spotlessly clean, really comfy beds, the rooms were warm and cosy. Tea, coffee etc with a... More

We popped in on a Wednesday evening after a recommendation. Firstly we were surprised how busy it was for mid week, the staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The food is solid pub grub, very tasty and great selection. The portions were massive and very good value for money. We will defiantly be back... More

Everything you expect a traditional Inn to be; Traditional Values, friendly welcome, warm, clean & tidy, a menu to suit all tastes, excellent value, traditional ales. Pity the car park isn't bigger but then that's the price of success.

My wife and I had booked a 2 night break at the Woolpack. We arrived mid afternoon and were received by Josh and made very welcome who confirmed our dinner reservation. We were shown to our room (11) which was spotlessly clean and well furnished. We had a couple of drinks in the bar ( well kept beer) and relaxed... More

We were staying at the Travelodge for the night and they had a menu for both Little Chef next door and the Woolpack Inn in the village and we're glad we chose the Inn. It was a wet, cold Friday night and the place was very busy when we arrived just after 7 but they were able to seat us... More

Popped in for a light lunch. Ordered a jacket potato and a sandwich. 45 minutes later after asking, it finally arrived and the jacket potato was still under cooked! Fair play they gave a full refund but surely any decent food establishment can cook a potato?

Stayed at the Woolpack on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th With my colleague, seemed quaint enough from the outside. The room numbers five and eight which I was in was unfortunate to get was disgraceful , low ceiling and you could say only half of a shower. My height is 5' 9 1/2 this room should not be rented out... More

Dear Andykelly56 Thank you for your review, I will pass on your feedback to relevent staff and bring up issues arrised. As for the attic rooms these are quaint and full of character but fully understood that taller people have difficulties, room changes would have been made if there was a suitable room for you.
