I stayed here for three weeks in December and the whole experience was great. The rooms are very reasonable in price, extremely clean and well serviced, comfortable with ample hot water. The staff are so friendly and kind always. My room had a great view across the mountains, and got sun all day which was welcome at that cold time of year! The restaurant is also great with really good coffee, fabulous breakfast selection, good clean food from large menu with Indian, Tibetan and Western food to choose from - all vegetarian. Location is very central and easy to walk to. Definitely going back. Whole place has a great feeling to it.

We had lunch here a couple of times, European disher, Tibetan dishes and Indian dishes. The food is very good, lots of different dishes. Also we really liked the cake. Staff is friendly and it is a nice place to eat, especially outside.

I had a very nice experience at this hotel. I stayed for 2 nights in Jun17 and had a comfortable and cozy stay. The eating area is good. The rooms at the top have a single balcony each that face the Dhauladhars. The views are beautiful and there's limited seating space for 2-3 people in the balcony. The room and bathroom are spacious. The bathrooms and sanitary fittings are very nice. There's a nice foyer in the front of the rooms on the second floor that also serves as seating area. One can enjoy the weather when it rains outside, including in the balcony. The street is quiet at night and the beds are really food. The sleep quality was quite good. The food and service in the restaurant is good. The staircase is slightly narrow but considering the space in the town, it is good.

Excellent funky Tibetan budget hotel in McLeod Ganj just a few hundred yards from the main square. Loved our balcony room which had an amazing view of the valley for around 2500 rupees or so. It was monsoon season so lots of rain and the hotel is on the road to several hikes like Bhagsu Falls. Watched a new building construction. Staff are wonderful and told us lots of good tips. Laundry service and a great restaurant. Been around for over 40 years apparently and they serve Tibetan and Western, Indian dishes. Good for the budget traveler and rooms are clean - lock your bathroom window though as they monkeys will be in a second - (they made a mess of some chips) stayed for a few days and enjoyed our time. It is a one star hotel so some things don't work as well as you wish but

Being in Mcleodganj near the main square means a lot. It gives you the luxury of being near the Dalai Lama temple, market, good restaurants, including Green café, taxi and auto association and roads going towards Dharamsala, Naddi, Dharamkot and Bhagsu all quiet convenient. And a major plus is the cost against the value that you get by staying here. We stayed in Green Hotel for 3 nights. Our room had a brilliant view, being on valley side. Room interiors were a bit old, but that is a negligible part as room was cleaned every day. It was a well ventilated and well lit room. Had a balcony where one can sit for hours admiring the green hills and valleys and the clouds passing time to time. The hotel crew including Dikyi, Chikyi is always on their toes to assist. They share good

So let's start with the positive: rooms are very very clean! If you look at the nooks and crannies not a speck of dust or dirt. Chuki-la was fantastic at juggling multiple tasks, and her staff was super helpful. The food here is wonderful. But let's pause a moment to talk abt the dessert counter. Just wow. The coconut cake simply delish. AND they have a coffee machine! No Nescafe for this traveller! The beds were good and the pillows not all old and skeevy like many budget hotels in India. That said, the fan was twitchy to work, shower was in the open in the bathroom, the towels threadbare. Windows and door stuck and clearly in need of some maintenance, i.e., the secondary light in the bathroom did not work. I had to ask for a hot pot (seemingly de rigeur in India.)

I happen to like the place minute I saw it's pics location and reviews on booking. Com and trip advisor. ..though not prominently advertised this small guest house boasts of clean quality rooms for moderate prices. ..valley view rooms can cost 1200 to 1500 to 2000 and road side view for 800. .all rooms have nice comfortable bed and small lcd TV with usb inputs. ..offcourse wifi is there and green cafe at ground floor is so good. ..staff friendly and simple what else does one need . Location is the best actually. .its situated very near to main square and still is quite peaceful. ...still there is a small issue. .i was shown a better room in a new wing when I went to book my room a day before checking in but when I checked in next day I was given another room in old wing which

Hotel is only a few minutes away from the city centre. Had a good room, my AC was working good. Clean. Reception can be a bit chaotic but the ladies running the front desk are genuinely nice. The restaurant is also a good option on your first night while you still acclimating to the city. Their breakfasts are also good. The wifi was not really reliable, very weak or no signal at all. Can be a bit noisy at night given sound coming from street. Was also awaken by stray dogs barking in the middle of the night. But I guess this has nothing to do with the property.
