The Terminus is probably the nicest hotel in Angola. It´s newly and tastefully upgraded (Feb. 2015) on a sandy beach. Prices are high $100 to rent a beach bed) which would be okay if the service was good but it isn´t. The restaurant service is especially bad. The lady serving in the morning is like a soldier brusquely clearing away...

We stayed here for three days with a 6 year old and 1 year old. After checking into the hotel room we attempted to get ready for dinner. There was no water coming from the taps. Called reception and they kept telling us 10 more minutes. An hour and a half later the water was running. Gave us wifi password...

The old building is under construction but it is the best place to stay in Lobito, very good clean beach, good food, very professional staff. I recommend travellers to visit the place. Its also recommended for top personalities interested to visit Lobito.

The old building of hotel is under construction and I stayed in the new building. Very nice, good deco with a interesting design. Average breakfast, not the best mattress, but a perfect location. Totally recommend for more then one night in Lobito!

The hotel has moved into its new building next to the original structure, which is currently unused. It started out well, in that the front desk was professional, if a bit slow. The lunch buffet available when we arrived was decent-value-for-Angola (4000 AOA) and fairly tasty. I'm sticking with the average rating as I believe some of the issues were...

Me and my colleague travelled to Angola end of July 2014. I booked, paid and confirmed Hotel Terminus 3 weeks before the depart. We chose it because of the positive reactions on the internet. After international flight of 9hrs. we had a national flight with TAAG of 45min. Delay: 10hrs!. Corruption was already noticable in the airport (tickets available on...

The hotel stands out in Lobito. It has an impressive look as you drive in. Others told me that this is the best hotel in Lobito, and I can believe them. It has a comfortable, old 'shabby-chic' feel to it. It must have been very impressive in its old colonial heyday. Now, the large rooms - suites in fact -...

I came to this hotel to spend a day at their beach and beach bar, and it was amazing. The hotel bar on the beach has very good sandwiches and other light food items, that good very well along with a day spent on the sand doing nothing! The sand is kept very clean and everything is thought to promote...

This is a nice hotel. Its grandeur has faded somewhet but its got an understated coolness. Its got hight ceilings and four poster beds and its got old facilities. The brunch area and beach bar bit is really nice and a bit of an oasis in Lobito. I'd definitely go again. Unfortunately, I heard rumours that it might be modernised....urgh....
