El Paredon is an isolated place with few amenities. This hotel is upscale for the area. The surfing is wonderful, turtle hatching is interesting and the people are lovely. If you want to stay connected you need to go elsewhere as there is no wifi and cell service is spotty. We arrived just after the US Presidential election and I... More

I spent a great week here and will definitely be back: it's a very relaxed and friendly place right on the beach of the sleepy fishing village of El Paradon, just a few steps from the surf. Rafa was an excellent host and his team looked after me well. Things on offer included delicious home-cooked food & juices, boards &... More

It is the only budget place in El Paredon The owner and staff are nice. Meals are cheap and so good. I recommend to any budget traveller who wants to surf and have a good time. The surf in El Paredon is not suited for beginners, so be careful. There are rip currents

Nothing luxurious but good enough acomodations. Beach front. Great staff and great food. I've enjoyed it every time. Rafa is a great host as well as his other team mates. They will also teach you how to surf up on request for a price. They have surfboards, Body boards and even umbrellas that they will lent to you or rent... More

Great spot to stay in el paredon, right on the beach and at the village itself. Rafa was very helpful in organising my shuttle back to Antigua - he asked me if I wanted him to organise it before I even got around to asking him about it. Dorm was clean and really comfortable. Bathrooms clean. People say the camp... More

El Paredon Surf Camp was a welcome time of relaxation. There are various kinds of accomodation - we stayed in a casita which sleeps 2 or 4 (there is an upstairs bedroom) which had an amazing 'outdoor' bathroom! We had views of the ocean from our outdoor lounge area. The food is great - the rooms are clean. What else... More

The Surf Camp is a great place to stay - I stayed in the dorm, which was clean and one of the most comfortable I've stayed in. I also arrived ill and the staff allowed me to check in three hours early so I could sleep. It's very friendly and I was able to get to know some of the... More

Definitely appropriate title of 'camp'--or maybe hostel-like--but basically just cots (with ample mosquito nets) and working bathrooms/showers, but you don't really need much more at this fantastic beach. Walk 20 yards out of your cabin and have really long beach, great surf and great sunsets. The staff very friendly, happy to help with whatever you need, and the other guests... More

This surf camp was so friendly and welcoming to everyone who walked through the gate. We stayed in a tent so I can't say anything about the accommodation but the food was good and reasonably priced, the surf instruction was solid and the community was very welcoming to a wide range of patrons. There were people from across the globe,... More
