well kept & very picturesque with surrounding mountains BUT it's a ghost town. The recession hit quite badly. The Spanish Village deserted,no pharmacy/supermarket as signposted. Most apartments are empty & many of the villas too.The clubhouse is ok but could be great with attention to detail. The Spaniard pub is dark & quite depressing & the food isn't great. There is a restaurant above the...

Just back from another week at Hacienda, This Resort is first class and very luxurious. This resort has the longest golf course in Spain and hosts many tornements throughout the year, attracting pro golfers from all over the world. It also has superb practice facilities and a 36 bay driving range, floodlit tennis academy .green bowels and padel courts. Playgrounds for...

The location is brilliant 20 - 30 mins drive to all the local areas and attractions.... however none was open or at full working order the actual golf resort literally has no life and there was nothing to do for the time we was there and the villas are beautiful but not a holiday or property hunt place at all.

We stayed here for two weeks. The villa was fabulous and the complex spacious so not too in top of each other. However it is very quiet. Not necessarily a bad thing! Sports bar was closed for holiday when we were there but there are 4 other restaurants: Spaniard Inn, Terrace Restaurant, Club House, and Kennellys. The last one was...

I stayed in a four bed four bath villa from July to Aug 2016. The villa itself fab with nice size pool and plenty of space. However the complex is only half finished according to some locals due to bad management poor sales of villas and other properties. The main centre is like a ghost tie with just one bar...

1/2 hour from the airport you will find Hacienda Del Alamo. The pictures on arrival at Murcia airport are of this place. I read lots of reviews on here and have to say that some people are really cruel when writing reviews. Someone only last week mentioned the smell which this resort gets...... firstly can I confirm that HDA is...

This had the potential to be an amazing holiday destination. However the infrastructure for supplying demand versus supply is really poor. Went for a meal at the golf club which was awful both in service and quality of food. Really sad that such a great setting can end up like a ghost town. Villas are great to rent but don't...

This is a fabulous place to spend your days relaxing. Built around a 7000 metre golf course the villas have either a private pool or a shared pool. With easy access from both Alicante or San Javier airport both less than 1 hour drive and the coast only 30 minutes away this really is a great resort. Optional sports available...

This is a really impressive village built around a 7000 metre golf course. The golf academy is first class. The hotel is rumored to be open next year after it was initially placed in 1999. The recession hit this place badly. Many of the villas and apartments have been abandoned. The Spaniard bar is somewhat down market but adequate. It...
