Amazing. Simply amazing. Nestled far away in the heart of Himachal Pradesh, the Krishna Camp will offer travellers a mind blowing experience. The journey from mandi to the Krishna cafe is a bit hard for inexperienced people but you will be welcomed with a hot breakfast and a tiring trek to the camp. The trek is around 13 kilometres and the guide is very chirpy and supportive. We took a lot of photos during the trek and finally reached the Krishna Camp. There we were welcomed by a small staff who immediately provided us with hot water tea and a huge bonfire. The food is excellent and out of this world. We could see the starry sky breathe fresh non polluted mountain air and sleep in a tent (which they provide). There were 4 dogs also which protected us (ghost, super brownus, miawpoosh and chips). Our guide (sitaram) a lively fellow told us stories and made the trip even enjoyable. In the morning we again got very good food and returned to the Krishna cafe and Krishna himself drove us all the way to the bus stand. I strongly suggest all of you to please visit Krishna cafe and camp you will love it. If you want hospitality snow good dogs good food and a wonderful experience then Krishna camp is the place. I wish I could shift his camp near my place.
Must for star gazers, loners, couples and those who are fed up with the city life.

We did Prashar lake trekking and camping with Kishna camps. They arranged pick-up from Mandi to Baggi village where they have Kishna cafe where you can freshen up and have breakfast before starting the trek.
The trek Guide they arranged was a very nice person. Their campsite is 2km from Prashar lake as no camping near the lake is permitted.
Everything at camp is so well managed.
Nice cozy Quechua tents with clean sleeping bags and mattresses as well as blankets.
They have clean toilets at campsite and a kitchen which serves delicious dinner and breakfast.
They arranged bonfire in evening with tea and tasty pakoras.
We enjoyed star gauging from the campsite at night.
Overall an excellent and memorable trip to Prashar lake.
Thank you Kishna bhai for nice arrangements and will come back soon !

What we loved about Kishna Camp is they assign individual guides for every group, which gives a lot of flexibility in deciding when to start climbing. We started from Baga around noon and made it to their campsite well before sunset. The trek is gorgeous and passes through lush forests and quaint hillside villages. A simple packed lunch is served halfway up the climb like a small picnic in a meadow.
The camp itself is clean and welcoming. Has ~15 tents, 3 bonfire pits, 3 shared bathrooms. Staff are cheerful and go out of the way to help. They have a functional kitchen, so hot water is available on request. Food is delish and plentiful. There are enough charging points for electronics. Sleeping bags are provided. Tents are on the smaller side, but we were so tired from the climb we slept like a log and woke up refreshed. It's also a good location for stargazing and astrophotography.
Their small cafe in Baga has hot water showers, so we were able to take a quick bath after coming down the next day. The owner also dropped us off at Mandi in his car. The whole experience was very chill and lovely, and all the people employed are locals from nearby villages. Definitely a business worth supporting, 100% recommended :)

Best place for a weekend getaway. The trail is almost 8 Kms with the best service provided until you trek down. It is a far easy trek compared to other ones. Not many know about this place. A perfect getaway for a weekend.

It was a chance trip from Mandi while returning from Kheerganga. I called them around 9:30 for booking and reached around 11:20 in night. Mr. Ramesh guided us all the way to the camp and made arrangements for late night bonfire and food for four of us. Food, location everything is great and courtesy and hospitality is even greater. Absolutely loved their hospitality.

The tents at Kishna camp are very spacious, and available in different sizes. We went in the off monsoon season to avoid the crowd and it was a perfect weekend getaway.
The host, Kishna, made sure that our journey and stay were comfortable. We were served evening snacks, dinner and breakfast with our stay. There was bonfire throughout the evening and we had dinner by the fire. They have two campsites until now- one is about 2 kms above Prashar lake- which is where we stayed, and the other one at Baggi from where you begin the trek, which has a beautiful cafe too! In Baggi campsite, there are proper mud rooms which can accommodate around 10 people in one room!
We had the yummiest PANCAKES at Kishna Cafe- 100% recommended- and tea, with the most serene view of the hills!
Your visit to Prashar will be incomplete without a visit to Kishna Cafe❤️
Here are a few photos of the place, food and good vibes of the hills!

Great food and facilities. Strongly recommended if you are visiting Prashar lake. Best part was the ride given to us to their camp in his truck and bonfire put on for us. People were really helpful and tried their best to make our stay comfortable and fun.
