Expectation is not Reality.. We have travelled nearly 1000Kms for a well planned vacation. We have booked a Sea Facing Room but when we reached here tired after driving so many kms, we were given a partial/blocked room in a corner. Utter disappointment, upon speaking to the Manager she mentioned that all rooms were booked and hence there is no other option and cannot be changed the next day as well. One simple thing would be Could have advised us after our booking 4 days back that the room is not what you’ve expected, we would have simply booked something else which is very very logical thing to do.. Really bad from such a well known place like Bay15.
Bay 15 was written about in the local press as a destination to watch FIFA cup matches. We made a restaurant booking and wrote to them to confirm that matches were being screened. There was no response but we landed up to be disappointed that instead they had a crooner singing. The place seemed very worn out with staff not too bothered about what is going on. Very disappointing experience.
What a place!!! We (8 people) went to have a lunch at this amazing place. We were staying in Candolim and drove all the way to this beautiful and serene restaurant with delicious food. It was one of the best meals we had in Goa. Salads were amazing and portion size was really good. The service was pretty and quick and the view was just to good to be true. The drive to the restaurant itself is so beautiful as once have to drive uphill and downhill to reach this restaurant and one can see the complete view of the sea while driving and it’s just an amazing view. It was recommended by one of my friends and it was worth the effort to drive from Candolim to this restaurant. Would definitely recommend the Greek Salad and Dimsun!!!
Visited with family. Early check-in not allowed even if the rooms are vacant. No welcome drink. Only buffet breakfast available that was alsó not impressive. Its more a seaside restaurant and party venue than a resort. Only view is good, but can't approach beach from there. Far from north goa beaches and sights. Not worth the money and trouble.
The rooms were dirty and unhygienic. The washroom was very small and the multibath system for bathing was old, stinky and broken. The rooms required dusting. The breakfast menu was very small. The location was also not worth it. There was no internet or signal. One must consider it a two star property and not spoil their holiday staying at bay 15.
The 4/5 star review was surprising. The accommodations and pool were worn down. Private beach is misleading as you can not swim from this beach as the rocks will hurt you. The service was good and the food excellent; nice surprise.
We are stayed in recent inn hotel panji.its adome experience, neat clean room, great housekeeping service.good hospitality, good service, good food.spcality recommend mr paritosh, nazir, surajit.we will visit again.mr paritosh is very good and helpful ,he is comfortable my stay.tganks to him.
Bay 15 is a well-situated waterfront property but a little worn around the edges and lacking beach access. Their 16 cottages, grouped around a smallish swimming pool and billed as “ chalets” are comfortable enough but only rooms 105-110 truly have the “sea view” they advertise. Others face a hill or ( room 111-113) look out toward the sea over their restaurant, which gets very noisy on weekend nights. The restaurant is very good, serving a variety of cuisines, including native Goan specialties, Italian dishes and even sushi. All in all, Bay 15 offers decent value unless you need internet service: connectivity— despite the earnest efforts of the staff— was TERRIBLE and highly frustrating.
Amazing ambiance and wonderful food, service was excellent and so was the music. We had a feast with 3 course meals, and the deserts were yummy too... loved the swings and view, the ambiance just mesmerized. A must visit place if you are towards central goa.
Located on the rocky beach with sea facing huts, Very beautiful location with variety of delicious food. As recommended by family friends we went for 3 nights - 4 days, but as observed in the night because of cost cutting, the entire resort area is without light, only restaurant side lights were on, reaching till room also go with Mobile battery, They served only 500ml bottle per day per person - not even 1ltr. we were 3 of us, they served only 1 bath soap, this was very disgusting, Morning breakfast was not buffet , it was suppose to order with very very limited items and when we order for 3 days all items were served were cold and atrocious, when asked for Idle they replied that shef is on leave. Hotel management is taking advantage of guest those who are staying in resort as there restaurant is very famous for food and people is coming for parties and celebrations. They should treat and take care of resort guest first ..... Over all complete disappointment from what we expected.…
