I visited Goa last month for Business Trip and booked Ocean Suite for 2 nights as Few of my work visit was in the same location . also the hotel looked very good . I booked the hotel through Agoda but I got a shock seeing the state of the hotel . I have never seen such a terrible property in my life . Smelly , Untrained staff , irresponsible owner and a total waste of money . All pictures Iam uploading so that travellers should know . I contacted the owner for refund but she is on a holiday in Russia . This is how they fraud our money and travel abroad .
Number of things that went wrong here for us. The weekend that was supposed to be relaxed started with a horrible experience. 1) the room that was promised to us was given to someone else 2) the entire space is being refurbished and painted. The paint smell made us sick! 3) the room that we finally had to haggle to get was a someone's private room with all their stuff - clothes, books, files, all in the cupboards and cabinets which means we can't use it at all + the added tension of responsibility for these things 4) the bed was not clean, had sand particles, a dirty bedspread and the room was not dusted and cleaned, the curtains were not working and the curtain rod was broken 5) we called the owner Anjali Chhabra who conveniently was absent at the location inspite of us repeatedly calling her and explaining the situation to her. She was not botthered about the customer experience at all and just told us that we could either go to the rooms which were stinking of fresh paint or this one or checkout and that it will not be refunded! This is absolutely unethical and a very poor reflection of the customer orientation that she has.. we have regretted booking this place and have already spent 3 hours in only negotiating which room we could go to.. what all needs cleaning in the room that was allotted to us and getting the work done from her house maids. She didn't bother to come visit us and get this organised either.. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. We have attached the pictures of the room was given to us.. check it for yourself how dirty it is!!…
If you have a Vehicle then, this is a perfect place to stay with Family. Everything was perfect. Pool, behavior of staff, behavior of Owner Anjali, cleanness of rooms and bathrooms etc. Breakfast and tea was very tasty. Owner Anjali dropped us to Dona Paula circle on her car. Its like a homely atmosphere. Strongly recommending.
Firstly this is not a hotel but a big bungalow with luxurious rooms with all the amenities. The rooms were very well equipped and we were given balcony view with a huge bathtub. The hospitality was just amazing and the owner Anjali and her crew was equally awesome. We felt very welcomed and pampered. Even our doggo Bruno had an amazing time. This is also pet friendly place and the ambience is really good since away from all the noise of the city. Breakfast was awesome too. Worth visiting and I will always make a point to stay here when I am visit Goa.
This hotel is located in Dona Paula Beach is 15 to 20 Minutes walk away , Panjim can reach by local buss auto and taxi as well , This is Nice Place regarding service i will give full star 5 out of 5 , Breakfast serve was very super by taste . Maid is Always ready to help you Food rate is bit expensive but not high , Problem is finding Location I recommend to all who have booking take phone number so any kind location related query can resolve because Google not guide exact location . My Overall Experience was good What facility they provide comparing to price is really appreciated .
This hotel is more like a home stay. There are only five rooms available for guests. Rooms are good with everything you need for comfortable stay. The place also has a small pool which offers very good view. Breakfast was complementary for us but it has limited items to offer but the cooks are excellent. The hotel does not serve any dinner and guests have to order it from restaurants outside. The hotel provides many menu cards of several such restaurants and so one can offer from large variety of items. One can also order liquor from these restaurants. Prices are ok compared to other restaurants at beach side and service is also very fast. They provide tea bags sugar sachets etc for making tea inside the room. We spent total 03 nights there and I must stay it was very good stay away from crowd. The slight negative is that this place is little difficult to reach without google map. Overall our stay was very relaxing and peaceful.…
Pros: 1. Spacious clean rooms & bathrooms 2. Courteous service +- 1. Tasty but very limited food options Cons: 1. Check-ins happen after 11:00am - need to wait 2. Not a hotel - if you have stayed at big 5*s; you would be disappointed Good value for money if you wish to stay at a clean place compared to other similarly priced places (2k range/day)
This is not a luxury boutique hotel (as per booking.com) more like a home stay shared with other guests and the owner's family. The place has a medocre looking pool. The rooms are over priced. You have better options to stay nearby and we moved out just after one night stay here and paid more than what we should have on pro-rata basis.
Stayed here twice. It is barely 10 minutes away from Panjim. The rooms and washrooms are great. If you hire your own vehicle, it is a perfect place to stay. The breakfast provided was good. If you want anything else for breakfast, just tell Fatima. She will arrange it for you. The place is exceptionally well maintained and you get much more than what you paid for!!!
Giving a name to a bungalow doesn't mean it will become a hotel, when you don't offer services that a hotel does. Rooms are ok. The good thing is the caretaker Fatima. She makes sure you get everything. And the breakfast she makes is really good be it omelettes or aloo paranthas. For other meals you will have to order from the menu of the nearby hotel which will deliver and then Fatima will serve that. Wi-fi is good. But don't stay here thinking that it is a hotel. It is a bungalow which has several rooms. The lower floors are for guests and one floor is where the owner stays.
