This hotel used to be a town hall and has been converted into a hotel with only limited number of rooms, which actually makes it nice and cosy and charming. We spent only one night with friends but is was all worth while. Before leaving the hotel in the beginning of the evening on saturday to go out for dinner,...

This hotel has something special. Without any introduction we could make use of the available bikes to cycle to the dunes and beach. Were provided the keys to the bar without the staff being there and for us to write down what we took. Staff was very helpfull and the room was nice and clean! Bed(s) was great and really...

This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Set in beautiful surroundings of the old town of Castricum, this boutique hotel is an absolute gem. I stayed for 2 nights on business, I wish I had stayed longer. On arrival, I was greeted by the manageress, who was very helpful and showed my...

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights recently. The location of this hotel is ideal, a 20 minute train ride from Schiphol Airport and also from Amsterdam. The old town hall has been transformed into a wonderful boutique hotel. The rooms are large with spacious bathrooms and the breakfast room is cosy and inviting. Breakfast is served buffet style...

Oh my, what a place to stay! It's so tastefully decorated, albeit quirky and spotlessly clean. The bed was just sooooo comfy it snuggled you in. Castricum is a lovely little town not far outside of Amsterdam. It has plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from, however it was lovely to come back at night and relax in...

Built in 1911, this building originally served as the city hall for Castricum. Rooms are really nice and large with very comfortable furnishings. A nice breakfast with a great cup of coffee is also offered. The young ladies that staff the hotel are wonderful. Tip: borrow one of the hotel's bikes and take the train from Castricum to Den Helder....

Stayed here two nights, and nearly everything about the hotel was perfect. From the beautiful room, bathroom with large shower cabin, the restaurant, the service and personal care for customers - really a very enjoyable experience! This type of places makes traveling and staying in hotels just an awesome experience!

Excellent and very quiet location in the midst of Castricum. Tastfully decorated in the public areas and the bedrooms, modern touch in a old buildung. Great breakfast with the best coffee we did have during our trip. Personal welcome and very helpfull staff. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds.

Great stay here, friendly welcoming hostess not put off by two aging English cyclists in Lycra :o, great meal in town, comfortable night and splendid breakfast to set us up for the next day. Sweet decor throughout.

This hotel look incredibly charming inside and out. The original details of the former town hall combined with immaculate cleanliness made our stay a very relaxing experience. If you wish drinks are available at the bar in the dining area. The come at a friendly charge and compensate the lack of a minibar in the room. Our bed was really...
