We reserved one of the six Mekong-side bungalows via email 48 hours before planning to arrive. We stayed for 3 nights. First of all: LUTZ! He and his family are so friendly and welcoming, taking the time to make sure you have what you need and help out with trips and activities. Bike rental was available on location. Lutz is...

Hi everyone, Trust me whatever you look for on a holiday can be found here, within a budget that is ;) Cheap, very clean rooms, amazing food (try the cordon bleu!) and of course and amazing host Lutz, helpful, organised and chilled out. The place is on the sunrise side of Don Det which is ideal, as it cools down...

I felt home from the very first moment. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Best bungalows I have seen so far in Lao. You feel the German touch :) Good beds makes you sleep in, and then continue in the hammock on your balcony or spend the whole day in the relaxed restaurant. You feel like you don't need to...

Yes, sure, it's basic accommodation. It's a Guesthouse that charges 13 US$ a night. What else would you expect than basic? But the bungalows are maintained and clean. And that's all you need to enjoy all the complementaries that come along free of charge. These complementaries are the BEST spot on the island to look over the Mekong, peaceful water...

Basic bungalows but more than fair for price. Great Restaurant (we then did not try any other restaurant as it can not get any better) and great owner (very personal and attentive). Would definitely come back.

We stayed 3 nights in a bungalow here and could not recommend this place more highly if you want somewhere quiet and relaxing. The bungalows are really simple with comfy beds, cold water showers and resident geckos. The hammocks on the deck were the perfect place to while away the hot afternoons. The occasional buffalo would meander past, ducks made...

We had a very pleasant and relaxing 5 days stay in mama leuah gh. The location is very quiet and the view spectacular on the sunrise side. Bungalows are clean, beds very confortable and the mosquito nets of very good quality. Lutz and his wife are adorable persons always ready to help. Indeed I got food-sick during my stay and...
