High on hills, structure of a Dori Greek temple. Perimeter around 60x40 metres. Built in 5th century BC. On top of adjacent hill, exciting remains of a Greek theatre built in 3rd century BC. Worth a visit.

This Agriturismo property is only a few minutes from the ruins at Segesta. However, Google maps gave us the wrong directions, and we drove in circles for an hour before we did what common sense dictated--we called the property. This place is is the middle of a hidden valley--hundreds of acres of grape plantings. The dinners are fabulous; and their...

The diningroom at this lovely agriturismo is a treasure. Wine, oil, produce, cheese – all from the farm. Beautifully prepared dishes starting with a wonderful antipasto of local cheeses, vegetables, and meats. Our delightful host, Nicola, is the fourth generation of owners, and he is rightly proud of what they serve. Highly recommended, whether you stay at the agriturismo or...

The surroundings are lovely with wonderful views of the countryside and temple all along the very long drive and we received a warm welcome from our hostess. Little English is spoken but communication worked despite our very poor Italian. Our room was plain but comfortable and very clean and there was good water pressure in the bathroom. The pool is...

I picked this place based on Trip Advisor reviews, but the photos from the actual website did not do the place justice. We found the road to the Agriturismo and the road just kept on going through lush vineyards, incredible views of the Segesta Temple and olive groves for about 12 minutes or so! I wasn't expecting much from the...

Walking to the road (about 2 miles) gave me a lasting memory of the Sicilian hillside. Golden hills (a California euphemism), miles of lush green grapes and a a Doric temple framed against the blue sky. A great to wear off the calories of a wonderful lunch. A timeless moment.

Worth a visit if you are in the area and well worth the money paid - I think approx €6 . Temple is beautiful and the amphitheatre is quaint in comparison to some others I have seen but still wonderful ! We took a bus up to the amphitheatre which is included in the price - would have walked had...

We walked about a mile up a public road and viewed this temple from the road. The temple looks perfectly preserved. It was built in the 420s BC and never completely finished. The color of the building is a lovely red and the perfect columns made for lovely photos.. You are able to go to the temple site from the...

We ate a wonderful lunch at this terrific agriturismo. They produce all their own organic food, olive oil and wine. The son told us that 4 farms had been joined together into this new lodging/restaurant venture. Just being able to view and photograph the surrounding rolling farm fields by themselves are worth the trip. I never expected Sicily to look...

A lovely setting, quiet and close to a Greek temple. Signage was good on how to get there, although at night time you might have a problem. They have only a few accommodations at present but are building out several more “cottages” for the future. They had just finished adding a glassed in dining room with access to the pool....
