Nothing to complain about this simple but well managed hotel. Rather large comfortable and very clean too, good bedding and good location close to the center of La Cotinière. Two swimming pools looking nice but that we had not time to try. A bit expensive, as breakfast is not included but overall a very recommendable address.

Very nice hotel… large room with a fridge and very good bedding.
2 beautiful, well-maintained swimming pools and the one inside is heated…. The best!!
The lunches are delicious.
The owners are very nice.
Quiet location and 5 minutes walk from the small port “la cotinière” with many restaurants. Free local parking for bicycles.

BUT the bedding is not very good; a mattress but no bed base , just a board
Breakfast without any variation (we stayed 1 wk) without local products with invariably the same ham ( 1 white , 1 raw ham) under vacuum , the same canned fruit salad , 3 pastries, several jams, plain yogurts and compotes, possibility of shell eggs

We booked a night at Hotel l'Oceane but once we had seen the lovely clean and spacious room we immediately went down to reception to see if we could stay an additional night which was no trouble.
There is an outdoor pool and an indoor one as well. Both spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The room we were given had a spacious balcony with a chairs,table and even a sun lounger on it which overlooked the pool.
We had breakfast on both days of our stay and could not fault it.
The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful.
Being only a short, easy walk to the harbour I can throughly recommend it! We will not hesitate to stay there again.

Having spent the last four days at this fantastic hotel we found the cleaniiness of the rooms, swimming pools and surroundings excellent. The staff are discrete, courteous and helpful - nothing is too much bother. Most of the rooms have a balcony or outdoor space equipped with table, chairs and sun-lounger. The sandy beach is only a 50 metre walk from the front of the hotel and the delightful port of La Cotiniere less than 1 Km away. What a find!
