My husband and I were touring France for a month and had intended to stay at Camping Beau Rivage for four nights. We ended up staying for 12 nights and even then, we only left because our return ferry from Santander had been pre-booked. We were visiting in low season so the camp site was pretty quiet. The camp site...

We have been to this campsite several times in the past. It never fails to surpass our expectations. Everything is spotless, the views of the river are amazing. The management and staff exemplary. The adjoining fortified town of Navarrenx is an explorers delight. Walking through history. Several bars all serving excellent food. Everything from 2 chemists to several butchers.

Our second visit to this beautiful site. Run by a British couple it's spotlessly clean continually updated and nothing is too much trouble for their guests. Had a busy day? We can definitely recommend Richards pizza and chips....perfect! They give out advice on places to visit and eat, booked our tables etc. It's within walking distance of the town so...

Can't fault this campsite. The owners and staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help. Facilities are great and it is an easy stroll into the lovely town. Local wine available to buy at the campsite shop. Would definitely visit again, but for longer next time.

This is a first class site where the owners Wendy and Richard and Alydia the young lady on reception are so helpful,we would highly recommend this site for peace and quiet. Site is well situated close to the Spanish border with many attractions close by .

We chanced upon this campsite in the lovely walled town of Navarrenx. We were only going to spend one night here on route to our next destination but then ended up staying three nights. We were traveling to the South of Spain through France with two small children (a 2 year old and an 11 month old). The campsite was...

Myself and 10 friends (riding motorcycles) stayed overnight on our way to Spain. We hired 4 cabins, which were clean, well equipped and had everything you needed. Richard even fetched a 'toaster' in the morning for me so I could have toast for breakfast. Richard, Wendy & Lydia were the most perfect hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing was to...

We had two nights here in a motorhome on the way back from Spain via the Somport Tunnel. Very friendly owners who have been thoughtful in the development of the site in terms of layout and environment. Standards on site are particularly high. Navarrenx, a walled town, is a short walk away and has delightful buildings and nice restaurants and...
