Located a short but steep walk from the castle, it is a beautiful place to stay. Home made French breakfast was a real treat. Located high on the cliff above Beynac for great views of the town and valley. Excellent value for in a central location for sightseeing.

It is not often that we revisit a place in which we have previously stayed - after all this is a big world to discover! However the wonderful memories we had of the surroundings, the welcome, the breakfast, etc led us to return for another couple of nights with our daughter. We were not disappointed! Francoise and Jean-Claude are as...

We had a wonderful 3 days staying with Francoise and Jean Claude who are very generous hosts and provide amazing and generous breakfasts that keep you going all day. The rooms represent good value for money with beautiful views over the Dordogne region of France.

Francoise and Jean-Claude took such good care with us. The Versailles room had a king size bed and a private balcony and was perfect. Breakfast each morning was exquisite and the room beautifully maintained. We did some smalls laundry one morning and left it in the shower to dry but Francoise took it all and hung it on her own...

Francoise and Jean-Claude were amazing hosts. We stayed here for 5 days with friends in May and enjoyed wine each evening on the balcony overlooking the stunning Dordogne vista. Even though their French is limited, communication was fine as we all enjoyed practicing our English and French. They offered and made reservations each evening at restaurants in the area. Superb!...

Staying at Le Petit Versailles, you can, for a moment, anyway, imagine that you are queen (or king), of all you survey. The views from our bedroom across the valley were just magical. One evening we watched as hot air balloons rose above the valley. In the morning, the room was filled with joyful birdsong. Castlenaud and the Beynac Castle...

This B&B provided nice rooms, beautiful and well-cared for grounds and a fabulous breakfast each morning. Even though our host spoke little to no English, we were able to communicate. Francoise was kind enough to provide plates and utensils one evening when we decided to take advantage of the outdoor tables and bring back wine, cheese, and local offerings from...

This B&B provide nice rooms, fabulous breakfast, awesome hosts, and breathtaking views. The hosts speak little to no English, however we had no problem communicating. They are super nice people, very accommodating and willing to help. The location is a little remote; not far from town, but you probably would need a car. The scenery is definitely worth it!

A picturesque property & very, very comfortable B&B. Rooms have wonderful views complete with birdsong at all times. The B-fast were tremendous! All in all I'd highly recommend. You need a car & a sense of adventure as it is a bit remote, but the area is tremendous fun. 30 minutes from Sarlat and under 15 minutes for all the...

Lovely home, comfortable rooms, beautiful views and Francoise serves up a breakfast that is unforgettable! It was delightful chatting with her and Jean-Claude and they were very helpful with information and directions. There is a much easier way to get to the house than the route in the Rick Steves book - ask Jean-Caude for directions. The wi-fi network works...
