5 of us (an extended family) stayed for 2 nights in mid winter. The location, service restaurant and overall experience were perfect for a small village. The wider area is very interesting with vineyards and other small but interesting villages and architecture. Well worth a visit and a stay!

Yes, once a convent and hence the shape and size of the rooms. There is finesse to the place. All very nicely turned out. It is a 3 star Logis and the difference between a 2* and a 3* is very evident. However, so is the cost, but the extra luxury is well worth it. We liked it all and...

We had not visited this hotel for many years and were very pleased that all was as good as we remembered ,Madame and Monsieur were very welcoming and remembered us .As stated in other reviews some of the rooms are small but quite adequate with plenty of storage space particularly in the bathroom, air con was very effective and the rooms...

The rooms at the Logis are really tiny - they probably were the original nuns cells, but with way too much crammed in. The food at the restaurant was fine but it didn't have the feel/service of a good restaurant. One does not get the feeling of being a welcome guest. A word of warning, check your bill carefully at...

We visit this restaurant regularly since it is the best within a radius of 20 miles The service is actually charming when they get to know you - we were somewhat surprised that one of the waiters (who has always spoken to us in French for 3 years is actually English!) The special menu was a very reasonable 85 euros...

With other Logis hotels in the region fully booked we were pleased but surprised to find a room here - but we soon realised why. Bedrooms, although clean and reasonably presented, are small with noise from the plumbing of adjoining rooms, but the real let down here was the restaurant, attempting to do 'fine dining' but failing abysmally due to...

We had not booked to stay here but found ourselves in the area without a booking for accommodation and decided to stay as it was a Logis de France with a 3 cassarole rating for the food,so we thought we would get a good dinner as our previous experiences of this rating have been great. The hotel was an old...

Again Trip Advisor's rating is a bit blunt - nothing between "Average" and "Very Good". This is really a "Good". Accommodation is comfortable and the food well prepared and tasty. The location is perfect for the town and chateaux. Overall service was friendly but there were times when it was a bit off-hand and I had the impression that as...

This was the fourth time that my wife and I have dined at Les Ducs over the past five years. We were joined by two English friends who live in a village nearby. As this was our wedding anniversary we chose Les Ducs because we consider this to be the best place to eat in this area. We booked a...

Just back from a trip to France and spent 3 nights at the Logis Hostellerie des Ducs. The rooms are comfortable but basic but the staff and food are fantastic. The staff could not be more helpful and when we couldn't get a taxi the hotel owner took us in his own car!
