Stayed for 5 nights in April 2015, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We had a lovely spacious first floor room which opened onto a walkway above the plant-filled courtyard. Seating is provided outside the rooms. The hotel is in an historic building, and is finished as such. Staff at the hotel are extremely friendly, particularly Agatha who was especially helpful...

My girlfriend and I stayed one night last week at the start of our holiday and the accommodation and food was just perfect and better than expected for the price. It's located right next to the town's main square and church with some really nice bars and restaurants easily accessible. The service from the staff was just amazing and really...

Needed a place to stay for 1 night, very close to airport and easy taxi drive. Came to a charming hotel, friendly staff, fixed taxi and breakfast-package for us with an early flight. The city in it self is historic and very nice to stroll around both during the day and the night. Nice tapas around the corner, good coffee...

Great little place. Needed it for 1 night as it was closest to Gran Canaria airport I could find. Taxi ride there very reasonable. Staff/owner very very nice and helpful. As I was leaving at 0615(am) they made me a lunch/breakfast for the next day. They arranged a taxi for 0615, when I came down at 0600 taxi was there....

Aguimes is a lovely unpretentious little town, and this hotel manages to be a quiet hideaway but right next to the historic main square. The rooms are also unprentious, but comfortable and quiet (even though the camel statues outside that give the hotel its name are quite an attraction). It is all constructed around an attractive courtyard. Breakfast is adequate,...

We booked a room at this hotel through New Experience quite a long time ago but when we arrived we were sent to an empty stone building quite a way from the hotel. Our room at the bottom floor was not ready at 4 o'clock and when we got I we found a dark, damp and cold room where you...

We stayed for a week in beautiful Aguimes, thankfully the last night of the 3 week(!) carnival, as the noise continues to 4-5am! The hotel lady was quite stressed from lack of sleep but very helpful & friendly. She spoke French (which we also speak) so no problems to communicate. Lovely room as shown in publicity - very large, wooden...

If you are looking for something away from the main tourist locations, quiet, unspoilt, with character and friendly staff - then this hotel is perfect for you. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Its location close to the main square is ideal. Breakfasts consist of cereal, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes and eggs - delicious! Local...

Charming historic hotel just off central square in aguimes old town next to lots of tapas bars with great food. Aguimes has beautiful architecture and interesting history. Hotel accommodation on a budget offers value for money especially the breakfast but you are largely paying for location. We asked for a large quiet room for one night and were allocated a...

I chose to spend two nights in Aguïmes because it's a good starting point for walks. This hotel gets very good reviews and having had a look around the village I did get the sense this is actually as good as it gets in Aguïmes. The house is beautifully renovated and furbished to a very high standard. It stands out...

“Although the village is really small, there is quite a lot of noise coming from the street (mostly people chatting - there is no traffic), so if you want a perfectly quiet room the ones facing the courtyard a re possibly better.”
