Piping hot coffee, coupled with the best ever views ........ We went there quite early in the morning, so it wasn't the time to sample their lunch although the menu suggested it being super expensive ....... The views from the deck outside the hotel is simply simply breathtaking , & it is something not to be missed .........

This hotel does not need to advertise its rooms on booking.com or hotels.com. It is located in a premium location on the summit of mount Rigi. After September, there are no more sunrise trains to the summit. Staying at this summit hotel is my only option for viewing sunrise in October. The hotel is clean & tidy . The hotel...

We actually had lunch at the restaurant. Nothing to write home about, rather expensive, but the uniqueness of the mountain compensate. When we asked the password for access to the available "guest" wifi I was told that the wifi is reserved for hotel guests. I find this attitude wrong and insulting towards the many international guests visiting our country. I...

We booked a romantic weekend for two including a dinner at the hotel's restaurant. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit. The room, equipped with a double bathtub, had a superb view and the stay was excellent. The restaurant serves a very different cuisine than the over-expensive meals at the self-serving bar, so we were not...

I'm doing this review here because there doesn't seem to be a slot under the restaurants for it - so this is a restaurant review under the hotels section. The ONLY place to eat on Mt Rigi is in the Hotel dining room - fine dining at its best! Great location, excellent service, perfect food! We took some visitors from...

We were at Mt Rigi - close to the top - Rigi Kulm. Reached there by train - it was an excellent ride up to Rigi Kulm. This hotel has a self service restaraunt where we got good pasta (CHF 17.8) and soup (~ CHF 9) which is good for Switzerland prices. The size of the helping was good. It...

True, location-wise, the Rigi is still the queen of the Swiss mountain range around Lucerne! But "royal" are also the admission prices to the top especially if one does not own a Swiss half-price travel pass. Well, nobody is forced up there, but still... The real cheek, however, is the choice and quality of food: an industrially breadcrumbed and prefried...

Went there for lunch after hiking to Mt. Rigi. The view from the hotel is spectacular. They don't have any vegetarian options as all, and even snacks are priced way high. Its good place to have drink or coffee.

Rigi kulm hotel We reached here at 12.15 as it was all foggy and cloudy we thought of having a quick grab. The vegetable soup with bread was very good and was appropriate for the weather. The French fires also good. The hotel had a clean toilet facility and the lift takes you directly to the station.

We visited the hotel, not for the first time, for lunch only, after our trip with friends up the Mount Rigi using the railway. It was a quiet day up there because of the fog, only others who had no alternative but to visit on that particular day were there. So, the huge sun terrace went unused, the large inside...
