Only a wekend to share with old friends... A huge place to sleep. Full of history! The beginning of spanish and vasque languages. Rooms are like that time. I recommend to visit the place with a history guide. 100% to return with family ! Nice and interesting place.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel fully deserves its 4 star rating - an historic building in a beautiful location. Our room was very comfortable, with all amenities and views over the surrounding countryside. The staff were helpful despite language difficulties and the food excellent at dinner and breakfast, with the proviso that the evening meal cooled quickly due...

The location here is wonderful. The monastery in which this hotel is located is still in operation. We had a very comfortable room, and enjoyed a great evening meal. The service was good and calm. The bar offers a typical selection of good value drinks until late.

Stayed for one night as part of a cycling tour in La Rioja. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and the rooms were very nice. There is limited outdoor space to sit and relax but a good sized bar and general area for guests. The evening meal was included in our package and the food was...

We were at Hosteria San Millan during our honeymoon. It was probably the best place we stayed in during our trip (Donostia - Pamplona - La Rioja - Bilbao). The room is fantastic - spacious, attractive, clean, double sinks, and fantastic views from our side of the surrounding countryside and mountains from two double-door balconies (I think rooms on the...

The monastery itself is a hugely impressive and characterful building, and the adjacent hotel is more of the same. The large cobbled courtyard creates a sense of being in a special place, as does the reception and public areas. We were a cycling group of 9, we had a very warm welcome and a superb dinner. Our room had character...

We have been there only one night, October the 11th. It was charming, clean, very child friendly. On the 12th, we took part in the "vendimia" activities in Badarán. The kids (4 and 10) were thrilled. It was a perfect weekend, funny and educational. We strongly recommend it. Only one detail: there is no evident sign for the main door....

We enjoyed our visit to this hotel very much. All the staff were very kind to us. It was a memorable stay. The hotel was nearly empty (midweek early October) - We think more people would come if they knew how good it is - and such great value considering the quality! We took an 0830 inexpensive bus from Logrono...

The restored monastry is imposing and beautiful, set in the hills and in a pretty and quiet village. Dinner with a good three course dinner and a bottle of wine and an excellent buffet breakfast for two was 160 Euros. The rooms are large and modern with wifi and TV. Pleasant staff and an atmosphere of calm everywhere. fabulous.

Lovely hotel, although very very quiet! The staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant, both evenings and breakfast, the buffett in the morning was excellent with a wide range of foods, which is not so typical in Spainish /Countryside Hotels.
