Very little atmosphere. Pool isn't very clean. Food in the restaurant is disappointing. Inflatables are excellent and it gives good access for the ferry. You can also walk to Pegasus Bridge along the river. Overall though we felt this was a soulless place to end our holiday.

Stayed here for 5 nights in August with partner and 2 children aged 13 and 9. Caravan was nice although very compact in the bedroom had to walk sideways to get round bed! But nice big balcony and the pool was amazing! Kids spent hours everyday in the pool. Park was clean and staff were lovely. Bar is expensive and...

We stayed in a 3 bedroom chalet for 4 nights. The chalet itself was ok, the bedrooms were very small, but hey, you`re only in there to sleep, but we had problems with the toilet which broke down every day we were there. It was mended on a daily basis, but it did mean us having to go across to...

Stayed for 4 nights over May -June half term.We had booked a 4-6 berth caravan but on arrival was far to small for us( family of four. 2 small boys) so upgraded to a slightly bigger one. For some reason, it took a lot of looking in their diary to see if any were free which seemed bizarre as the...

We arrived off the late ferry (21.30), along with a few other caravanners. We were all given pitches down the bottom of the site, where there was no lighting. We all struggled to find electricity, and had difficulty getting the vans on to the muddy pitch in the dark. When we returned on our way home, we were given a...

Just come back from three nights stay here at the end of a long holiday. Used ACSI card. Had a good sized, level pitch. Showers were hot and clean. Cafe cheap and cheerful and fine for one night. Seen a lot of negative reviews so it may be that off season it's generally better and of course good value for...

Yes it's not cheap. The pitches are small. There is some road noise. The shower taps need pushing every 5 seconds. But it is convenient for the ferry. Normally camp out in the lanes at the port, but wanted a few days in this area to complete our D-Day experience started last year. Probably will not return, but an average...

Stayed on this site with our camper van as close to ferry. We had intended to stay for two nights but after finding out the price we only stayed one night. Staff friendly, pool and facilities clean...but nothing special to warrant the tariff. Pitches quite small and electric hook up required two pin fitting for some reason - we thought...

I was surprised by the average to negative ratings on trip advisor about this place, but we didn't have many options for our budget so we booked a Corsaire unit and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a lot, but in actual fact the little Corsaire units were adequate and quite newish so looked clean...
