Nice common area until you try to go to bed and other guests make lots of noise. Dorm walls are not to the roof so every sound is heard. Clean, well run and more than adequate. Bathrooms work too. Washer and dryer work well too.

I was really happy with Albergue Via Lactea. The host (Borja) was very helpful. My friend needed an electrical outlet for her sleep apnea machine and Borja switched us rooms so that we could have an outlet by the bed. In fact the room we were given had outlets at every bed. Borja and his parents (in picture) gave me...

We were very disappointed by our experience in what would appear to be a nice hostel We were eaten alive by bedbugs and when we tried to sleep else where I.e on the ground - the hostel was freezing outside of our bed bug ridden bed. We complained to the guy on the desk who reacted with anger and tried...

The albergue might be a bit hard to find but they tried their best and you will find posts pointing you in the right direction. The building is kind of weird, its just one huge, huge room divided by partial walls that do not go all the way, up to the ceiling, so noise is circulating freely, entering from the...

No curfew enforced here so avoid if you have any intentions of sleeping or getting a decent night's sleep. Large groups of Spaniards shouting their conversations (can hear every word with earplugs in) all around the hostel. This is the only hostel where we have encountered this, all the rest went quiet after 10.30. Shame as it's an otherwise nice...

That was one of the best albergues on my camino. Small details are everywhere: shelves and dressing corners in the rooms, flowers in common areas, signs everywhere about the location of additional showers, etc. I was impressed how clean the kitchen is, as well as other areas. Additional comfortable seating areas (at least three: lobby, next to kitchen, and at...

There are a lot of amenities in this hostel (common areas, garden, etc.), making it good value. We had to wait a while to shower, but everything was good otherwise. The rooms are quite large with a lot of beds, so falling asleep at night can be tough. The hostel was a bit hard to find at first, but we...

What a wonderful stop in Arzua on the Camino. We found the Via Lactea on a quiet side street just around the corner from a central plaza and close to cafe's and bars. The Via has vintage furniture; is very clean and one of the largest Albergue's we stayed in on the Camino. Large, but without a large dormitory feel....

An amazing property with great furniture and attention to detail. Charging stations and shelves next to every bed. Wonderful kitchen and great patio. Location is off the Main Street so it is quiet at night. Just around the corner from the church and plaza. For 10 euro's this is it!

This private guest house is clean with a spaceous well equipped kitchen and a private living room with antique furniture besides a cozy courtyard where one can relax or do the laundry. The room where I stayed had 16 bunk beds with a sunroof. I had a private closet next to my bunk. The bathroom is spaceous with lots of...
