Came here with the family for a Sunday roast dinner. We wasn't greeted when we came in so we went straight to the bar. We found a table and was then given two different menus each. All went for roast dinners and was all very disappointed. Dinners were cold, vegetables were strange textures and tasteless, beef was very poor quality,...

My son got married at The Bull Hotel recently. We had a fabulous time. The Buttery for a wedding venue was perfect. The staff were amazing and worked really hard and were so helpful. When all decorated and fairy lights in the evening it looks magical. The food served at the wedding was good, fresh and tasty. We had room...

Tried here for the first time last week and had a lovely traditional roast. So good we went back for dinner from the smokehouse menu tonight and it was amazing. Lightly smoked wagyu beef, cheesy leeks and Mac n cheese sides. Service is good, friendly waiter, lovely building and cute village. My husband and I both like to think we...

Meal at Smokehouse Expensive drinks, which we got charged twice for - although they did give us a refund when we pointed out their mistake. Service already included in the bill, not discretionary, which I disagree with. My husband went for the most expensive item on the smokehouse menu - rib of beef, well it was his birthday! It was...

This pub is a real gem and Martin and his team are very welcoming, there's always a friendly smile & the triple roast is out of this world, Martin is a bit of a wine buff and will always guide you to a suitable wine to match your meal

A busy town hotel with lots of guests on a saturday evening. We stayed there on our walk along the NDW and it's close to the trail. The staff was friendly and we had a nice stay. We also had dinner there and both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately we stayed there on a saturday night with a big...

Went here (again) with local friends for Sunday lunch. Not impressed. Yes there was a Jazz themed BBQ going on in the car park so service could have been disrupted. It took a long time and a couple of chases to get the menus and to get the order taken. Four of us six ordered the beef carvery, cooked from...

Went to Wedding Open Day at The Bull in March and fell in love with "The Buttery". From the time we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. We had the 4 poster bedroom- excellent space for 8 girls to get ready. Hannah, Leanne and their team were amazing. They not only made our day run smoothly...

This came highly recommended and we could all see why. Great food and very good prices. Room was perfect (the mattress could have been a bit better) and clean. The staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble including washing new shirts before the wedding. Would gladly recommend them.

A nice old building in the village close to the 3 motorway interchange. A lovely friendly reception at the bar prior to be shown to our table for our prebooked lunch. The food we enjoyed must be amongst the best in Kent for meat and fish lovers. The service continued to be friendly and efficient with the staff offering knowledgeable...
