It is almost midway between the major cities of Chandigarh and Shimla. Went to Kasauli with friends and family recently in Jan and bookee directly from the hotel. This is a mid size hotel very near to kasuali town with 28 rooms overall. The property is well maintained and view from the rooms is great. Stayed in valley facing premium rooms located all in the same floor quipped with all weather ac. Rooms are spacious and neat. Staff is helpful and arranged complimentary baby food for 2 year old son. Choice of breakfast is good with north indian however the food is plain without spices. Overall the stay was pleasent and recommended!

This was my 3rd trip to Kasauli & my 3rd stay at Kasauli Exotica. Hotel is nestled at just the right location & one can get an amazing views of Dhauladhar ranges from its valley facing rooms. On a clear sunny day one can clearly see Shimla (on a clear night it gives even more amazing view with the city glistening under lights). Rooms are just about perfect size, with balconies in all rooms where you can sit & unwind over a cup of tea, coffee or beer. The best part of the hotel is it’s open terrace type dining area (there is an option of closed room type dining area as well) where one can sit & enjoy their meals in midst of lush green mountains. Mall Road is about 2 kms from here.
The staff is hospitable & friendly, though at times lacks coordination. Special mention to Kuldeep who is always willing to walk an extra mile & help. Room/food prices are in line with similar accommodations. Bathroom sizes are a bit small, but won’t trouble much unless one wants to spend an entire day there. The food preparation is decent enough, but those expecting large buffet might get a little disappointed. The hotel allows only couples & families, which is a boon for those planning a private time with loved ones. The property is showing some signs of ageing & I hope that the owners/management will take care of it before it deteriorates.
Overall a nice, comfortable & peaceful place to stay & create wonderful memories.

With a valley view room, a deck that offered breathtaking view of the mountains and the hotel staff going out of the way to ensure your pleasure, this was my most amazing family holiday that I won't forget ever. My gratitude to Mr. Sanjeev and his team. Special thanks to Mr. Vineet and his team. Complimentary khichdi and milk for our infant daughter added to our delight.

Hi, My name is Nitin and I am travelling with my family and friends, we also have kids in our group. My experience with Kasauli Exotic so far is very bad. Yesterday I checked in at 9 pm after 8 hr of journey from Delhi and then we all decided to relax for some time but we got instructions from the Hotel people that they will shut the dinner at 10 pm. After freshening up and drink session when we went for dinner, they served cold food and the table and there was NO hotel staff to serve the main course meal. As I am travelling with my 5 year old daughter and she has an habit of having some hot milk before she sleep, I called Hotel reception to serve glass of hot milk for a child and then denied and said they don't have a staff. whole night my daughter didn't sleep properly and this is a kind of a hospitality they are giving to customers. Today since morning it's raining and we asked for umbrella so that i can get some stuff from my car from parking area and again they said NO for it. Guys this is not the right option if you are travelling with Family. Staff is not cooperative. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone in my network.

THE hotel staff is resusing the plastic bottles and serving it to customers in the room. We requested for the water in room and we got one bottle of kinley, one bottle of aquafina and surprisingly one water bottle of rail neer. My family opened the bottle and drank few glassses from those bottles. When i noticed the three companies bottle , i asked the manager why and how he can supply rail neer water bottle on hills and then his answer was very shoking. He said me this is filtered ro bottle and mineral bottles are chargable . I was shoked to know that he made me drink water from the reuse plastic bottles assuming i ordered a sealed new mineral water bottle. The staff is playing with the customers health and when i asked how can he reuse the plastic bottles and give it to the customers who are paying approx 8000-9000 per night for the room then he said we generally give it to all our customers. When i asked him to show me the any written notification on which behalf he is doing this unlawful activity he has bo answer about it. The hotel is having rail neer bottle it means they are washing and reusing the other customers bottles who carry these plastic bottle with them and remain it in hotel rooms assuming these bottles will be sent to dustbin and hotel is using it to drink water from them to other customers. In this covid time, they are reusing the bottles claiming that they are washing it before reuse for also which they have not any records . Kindly raise the voice against the hotel and stop these unethical work.

Location is good . There are actually no direct hotels on mall road or neat tourist pt.so this hotel is located in a ggood reach to mall road. Of u use road to go mall u can pay upto 1000 for a trip from this palce and road uses thr same gng down one hill and climbing other hill and takes time. We chose a short cuut it's a little trek one can do easily and reach mall road in 10 min walking plus it was beautiful way. This short cut is right in front of the hotel u can walk anytime to mall and save money and time.
View from the hotel isvery nice and mesmerizing. U can come wnd see valley anytime enjoy brkfast and meals thr.
This hotel has Mini CCD cofee that is very imp as tea and cofee tastee diff in hills mayy b due to milk .CCd coffee cmes to rescue.
Food is good in taste and thy can customise as per ur level of spice and taste. . mostly all mentioned items are avbl in the menu.
Staff is good and helpful. Rooms r of nice area and we'll ventilated. Washroom r fine also.
One can good walk in the hotel itself spacious walking area.
Now the not good parts about it
They wil not let u extend checkout at any reason. I requested to extend till 1230 bt wasn't allowed , or pay half the rent. They wil keep caling u . To chek out.
We tuk brkfast and dinner plan 3 days most of the things r repeated. Like if u eat dal makhani in lunch u iwl hv in dinner also . Very few choices they make. Everyday u wil get parantha and aloo or chole. That all. Menu on buffet needs definite planning.
Desserts are same eveyday.
These two things were not good to me else it was good place to try and stay. I can definitely come to this place if thry work on their menu options .

Go in for Kasauli Exotica only if you don't find any other place to stay in kasauli. 1. If you book thru any travel portal, they will give you a room without a view and tell you that you didn't pay for a valley view room. 2. Check in time of 2pm and Checkout time of 11am doesn't make sense. They claim that they need 3 hrs to clean the room , but our room had many filthy patches. 3. No leisure activity is available in the resort 4. Reception staff isn't really welcoming and infact sounds a bit rude if you try to reason with him. 5. Breakfast spread is meager, and the quality of food is nothing to write home about. 5. Valley view from the partly open air restaurant is the only saving grace

Illiterate Staff. I called the property for a corporate booking of 12 rooms for check in on 14 July. The staff tells that they dont give rooms for corporate bookings on weekends. Further on being asked whether I was asking for rooms for free, he claims that I can talk to the GM Mr. Kuldeep Sharma. On asking the contact details of the GM, the staff says please type your query on whatsapp and send. I could not understand the response of the staff. Went with my friends for a 2 night stay. It was a really wonderful experience. Just 2 KM from Mall Road, you simply climb (If you can) or else just take your car or a taxi. Food is really Awesome (except aloo gobhi, however they didn't charge us for that). Staff is very nice and a special voice out to Kuldeep Ji at the front desk. A very humble guy with always ready to help attitude. He specially opened up the inventory for another room for our other friends. Valley view rooms are must to take.

Resort is on Beautiful Location and near to market. Staff is so polite and humble. I want to give b'day surprise to my Husband and on reception, Gaurav sir gave so much support & help me so well. We are so much glad to see our decorate room 😍😍 Room is so beautifully decorate with balloons, flowers, cake & bouquet. Guard Uncle is also very sweet and guide us so well, when we want to walk during night. He told us that don't go on a walk with your wife. Go in your Car is safe. They all are so caring with their customers. We really enjoy our trip and definitely recommend to others. And food is so delicious and serve so well. I will also post a youtube video soon on a hotel look on my account Preet_arora. Thank u so much for making our trip so beautiful and memorable. They ask for Government Id and did not check for marital status. How ever I visited with my family so if you have a doubt better call hotel and check upfront.
Hi,
I was a guest there sometime back. I didn't find any room where guests would not have to climb stairs. However, they do have a golf cart service for their 'ground floor' rooms which are next to their reception (but you will have to ask for this service). Also, I travelled with my parents (who are also senior citizen) but they didn't find the stairs too steep to climb.
If your guests are suffering from acute pain, I would advise to consider some other location as well.
There are more places to choose from in the Kasauli area.
