I visited the place with my family in October 2020. The location of the hotel is really good. The rooms are good and the balcony with every room is a great add on. The rooms are not very clean and you can see stains on bed sheets & towels, improper brooming. The hotel staff says that the sheets and all are washed but these are some permanent marks which don't go. On brooming, they say that dirt comes with shoes when its not the case. But the property is new so these things can be overlooked.
The property has a rooftop restaurant offering a valley view. Our room was in C block which is just next to the rooftop. We were always sitting in this area and enjoying the view.
The food is really good but the quantity is extremely less, the service is really poor and the food is very costly. So apart from the taste of food, everything is a little turn-off. You are allowed to BYOB and snacks to the rooftop restaurant for a minimum cover charge thus saving a few bucks on the food cost front.
The snooker table is non-functional and the hotel doesn't have any other indoor games like TT.
Overall, if you are coming for a leisure trip where you just want to relax and not move an inch anywhere then this property is definitely for you. But if you are an adventure junkie then unfortunately this property won't offer much. It deserved a 3 star but the tasty food and the amazing view from the rooftop forced me to give a notch up overlooking the minor cleanliness and service glitches.

Stayed with my family in June. While the weather was pleasant during my stay, my experience was made even better by our decision to stay at Ramada in kadauli. The hotel rooms are comfortable and have beautiful views from the balcony which is spacious as we even ordered food from the in room dining which was laid properly in the sit out. Their roof top restaurant was also lively and the food delectable. Above all, the staff at the property was very warm and hospitable. We asked special meal for our 3 year old which was not in their set menu but still was made to taste by the hotel and also followed up by them to confirm our feedback on the same. I would strongly recommend this property.

We celebrated Holi at Ramada Kasauli this year and stayed there for 2 nights. Check in was good. we were complementary upgraded to suite for one night. The hotel is built into 4-5 blocks and all have beautiful views. House keeping was good. heating was effective. We had taken package with dinner. But when we went for dinner there were no serving snacks and dinner was basic. So we down graded to one meal plan only and had alacarte in room. For the two days we had alacarte and found out that food was overly expensive and quantity toooo less. because quantity was less we had to order again and again. Next day breakfast was the chaos, looks like hotel does not have the experience and infrastructure for full occupancy, no person at the entrance to allot tables, we were standing inside and looking to grab tables like dhabas, we ordered egg white but there very less staff to serve and my order each time was picked up by some other guest in the waiting. The central lawn on 3rd floor, discotheque all are wonderful. But the phenominal pricing of food and drinks put a great dent on our pockets. On the day of check out break fast was good as there was less occupancy. Over all we had fun as property is good but it was really diminished when we ended up paying 60% of total expenditure in food bills. In my travel of over 500 hotels in last 15 years this has never happened and should be set right.

I advise not to bring your driver to this place as there is no arrangement for your driver and he can't even pee there in their secluded premises, as Drivers are not allowed in this place. I allowed my family driver in my room after I got ready in the morning and these people charged me Rs 1500 for that one shower he took in my room. I can't travel with a driver who hasn't taken the shower and moreover what is that poor guy's mistake that has brought me there. Moreover he is like family to me. The General Manager was very uncourteous and make sure that I pay that Rs 1500. I paid and am attaching the receipt of the same. So my advise is not to bring your poor driver there.

We stayed there for only one night but somehow did not like this hotel as per Ramada standards.
***Pros**
1. Location is very good. Views from Balcony are breathtaking.
2. Rooms are spacious considering they are built on a cliff.
3. This Girl Shikha at Front office was always smiling and ready to help.
**CONS**
1. Cleaning of rooms have to be improved. There were dust on curtains and corners.
2. Washrooms stink due to raw smell of sewerage eminating from the drains.
3. Positioning of wash basin tap is very bad. Washing hands results in water draining out from the basin and spoiling the washroom.
4. There is no heating in the room. Considering the outside temp which Drops to around 8-10 deg during night, there is an absolute need of heating in room especially for people travelling with small infants and children. When enquired from housekeeping, they said that AC plant is still running on cold air-conditioning and heating has still not been activated. Also they do not provide any portable room heaters.
5. Menu Prices are Exorbitant. Quantity and quality of food served in rooms does not justify its pricing. Also the food was served in stainless steel bowls with lids. ( Typically dhaba style). We found the steel lids not adequately washed and had stains on them.
6. Breakfast menu needs serious overhaul. They should add more items in their menu. Few items such as bread, sweet buns were not fresh and hard to eat. More variety of bakery items must be added.
7. Although staff is helpful but their uniform cleanliness has to be improved. We saw many guys roaming in dirty white shirts and trousers. Not as per Ramada standards.
8. Towels were not very clean.
Considering visiting the hotel after Corona pandemic, we were not satisfied with the hotel and rooms cleanliness. Strict enforcement of sanitization in rooms is necessary.

Visited Ramada kasauli on 12th June. Had a stay booked for 2 nights, the moment we entered there were back to back events leading to dissatisfaction. Firstly, unlike other hotels the tourists staying at this property were not following basic covid hygiene of wearing masks or maintaining distance. Secondly, the services were so poor that despite multiple calls to the reception no one came to clean the room which has handed over to us as a cleaned and sanitized rooms. There were foot marks everywhere on the floor and even the furniture was dirty. Called 4 times but not even once the hotel staff sent someone to clean. The only excuse which was there "we are totally sold out". Does this mean you will reduce on your service standards? If the hotel is unable to handle so many bookong due to shortage of staff then ideally they should not take bookings.
Then we ordered food which was equally bad and overpriced. Imagine paying 2500 for 2 noodles and bowl of chilli chicken. However, the only good part was, the manager was kind enough fo acknowledge our check out and refunded us the amount post deducting the food bill.
Well i wont say its a bad property, but yes they really need to improvise on their services.

In my view it is the Best hotel in Kasauli. But it is not better than a 3 Star property. The rooms are good. The services are also good. Staff is good but still need some more training. The management lacks professionalism. Some of their areas like fitness centre demands toak ally neglected. The Air conditioner was not working. Initially they were not ready to accept that air conditioning is not working. Gave me many foolish excuses. Nobody was taking care of that area. Used water bottles, glasses, hand towels were lying as it is. Nobody was there to clear all these things.We have to ask them to clear this area which is not expected from such a branded hotel..
When it comes to food the quality of food and service of food is good. The Head chef Mr. Lalit is very good and give a very personalized service. He tries to fulfill all our demand and make us feel more comfortable. But the management don't have proper planning & system to address Sunday breakfast rush, which made us very very uncomfortable. There were no table to sit, no cutlery no dish and food items were also missing. It was a horrible experience of my life in such a branded hotel.To compensate this the Head chef did his best but I feel that the day was spoiled .
So if management allows walk in guests for breakfast they should have separate arrangements for them. The room guest should never suffer due to walk in guests.
The management deficiency was seen at many more places.
I just suggest top management of the Ramada Group to look into the matter seriously so in future the guest do not need to suffer like us and Ramada Group does not have serious impact their reputation.

Stayed at Ramada Kasauli last week 6 kms from Dharampur all rooms are valley facing the 300m approach from main road to the hotel is steep and one has to drive in first gear but if one is not comfortable in driving chauffeur is provided to drive up and down from the hotel
Rooms are spacious clean and well lit bathrooms are nice water in shower comes at a good pressure and bathing is a delight
Rooms are west facing the afternoon sun warms up the room and from balcony sunset and night view is breathtaking Shashi Pal and Rohit in house keeping were very helpful
There are two restaurants one on the ground floor and another restaurant on the terrace of third floor which is open air a place to enjoy the view in the open
Buffet breakfast is very nice good variety and not heavy .
I was there for my birthday and on birthday eve after dinner a cake was brought which I cut in presence of restaurants manager Pramod Thakur chef Vikas and stewards Rohit Varun Deepak and Bhaskar. On birthday in buffet breakfast Pramod and Vikas made it a point to serve my favourite dishes for breakfast and celebrated my birthday again with
Kajal Jaspreet Lokesh Dinesh and Aman
Checkin and check out was very convenient Mr Mohit the hotel Manager was there to bid us goodbye.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again

Let me start by saying that I'm sharing my review of the spa, dinner and related service and not a stay (thankfully not a stay). I was staying at a nearby hotel (I will not name it to avoid sounding that I am promoting the other property), and I was told to visit Ramada for spa and dinner or a relaxing evening which turned out to be my worst nightmare. The spa charged me 3400 + taxes for a balinese massage. Massage itself was alright, however the room was not heated in a chilly weather and they put the simple handstand heater which left me shivering throughout the massage. Post the massage they offered me steam & hot shower. Steam only had smoke (like a stage smoke), and not heating at all. The hot water wasn't working either and I was told to keep the water on and it will come after 5 minutes, long story short after the massage I was shivering in the cold washroom for about 15 minutes and finally took a quick shower and came out. Then I called the GM (his name was Deepak), who even though came to the spa to visit me personally , was mostly defensive about the hotel and spa and said it "has just opened" and "it was working few days back". Anyway I finally had to ask that I will not pay for this poor service and he returned my money back but did not offer anything else personally.

The restaurant manager was "Mr Pramod" who tried to offer me extra dessert or something again did not feel like he's showing a good service but just to avoid any problem. Again they did not charge me for the dinner.
Please avoid this hotel at all costs, the staff is extremely poorly trained from the bottom up till the top. Service is far far away from this hotel

Reluctant staff, exorbitant food , untrained staff , missing egg station, breakfast options were pathetic, construction material littered around the property and they claim to be green and clean. While requesting the reception for extra 30 mins to checkout, the lady called thrice to inform that checkout is at 12. Whereas while we checked in around 5 , no-one bothered to call if we were coming.Far from market and hotel refuses to provide transport to the market rather offered a taxi.
