The sitting room has no heating, only a fire place which they would not start saying that they had no firewood. Bathrooms are modern.
Linen and sheets seem old. We had to get all the sheets and towels changed when we checked in.
There is no view from the room.
Food though good was highly overpriced.
The staff on the other hand was friendly and helpful.
Being an old property, there are no lifts to the first floor.
The rooms were okay typical hill station types .though we're clean .
The hotel staff is very laid back. They just want to wind their work early and leave.
Restaurant staff is very similar they keep pushing you to eat fast and leave . ( atleast that happened for dinner ) .
Any thing you would order the typical response would be it takes lot of time .
Food quality was also very average considering the over priced menu .
The owners should take some interest in their property as it has an excellent location .
Till it improves I think it's skippable .
Stay at the resorts and come to kasuali mall or the bazaar as it is called during the day .
Visited for lunch when the cafe was not very busy.
The menu is exhaustive.
Food is freshly prepared and so takes some time.
Had Indian food which was prepared fresh and was delicious: included tomato soup, boneless chicken and dal maharani. Very few restaurants where one can get tava chapati.
Food was priced moderately.
Card machine took pretty long to accept payment.
"Order food early as restaurant staff is extremely keen to shut the restaurant and go home . So you might me left hungry . So keep some food handy . "Read full review
