We had booked the entire hotel for our group. All rooms and suites have a nice view of the mountains and one can see the sunrise right from the bed. One can enjoy the view for hours from the balcony also. Swimming pool adds to the ambience and a bonfire besides the pool was the highlight for many of us. I am a vegan so can only say nice things about what I ate but overall every group member enjoyed the food. The cottages are nice but are a little away from the main resort so not suitable for the old and unfit. Better to stay in the main resort. Had no issues with hot water or warm AC. Check-in was prompt and overall service was good. Twin rooms not there. Almost all double rooms so those fussy about separate beds may have issues.

Not 5 star luxury but in a place like Kasauli, got more than what I had expected.

Had a great time at the hotel. Next time, will visit with the family.

Kasauli Resort is always my first preference whenever I need a break from work. As last weekend I was there for 2 nights and I was surprised the way Kasauli Resort has maintained it's safety measures after COVID19 breakout. They have created an app for touchless checking, as always food was so good, and all the staff was taking all the precautions plus very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate Mr. Gurpreet Singh (General Manager) who personally makes sure that everything is according to the safety measures

I went to this place for a long weekend with my family friends after the lockdown period. The location is great and overlooks the valley. The welcome was a bit unusual - it felt as if they didn't know what to do once we officially checked in.

Initially, the people at the hotel helped us carry our bags to the room but while checking-out, they mentioned due to the whole COVID situation, they cannot really send any people to help us. We had to drag our luggage all the way from the second floor without an elevator. It is simply not the kind of treatment you expect from the management once the guests are leaving.

The food was simply awful (especially the morning buffet). There were simply the same items every day without any significant change. For dinner, the prices set by the restaurant were so pricey - I could easily feed my family and me at the same cost as an appetizer if eating somewhere in the upper mall road. The hotel could definitely improve on their prices since there aren't many options around the hotel for food.

The staff gave complimentary bottles in each room but kept charging for additional ones. Never have I been to a hotel and see them charging extra for water bottles. You simply cannot overcharge on a water bottle!!

Irrespective of these issues, the property was genuinely beautiful and did enjoy my time.

Response from Gurpreet singh, General Manager at Kasauli Resort by Piccadily
Responded 19 Oct 2020
Dear Mr Dwij Thank you for your comment, we have made a very serious note of your suggestions regarding menu choices during breakfast and dinner and will be making improvements immediately. We have bell boys just to help with luggage, however the government guidelines are " clear -cut " and we intend to follow them. Respected sir, our food prices are much higher than mall road Dhabas, and it is intentional. our investment and business model is different from that of Dhabas, therefore prices cannot be similar. Thank you for your patronage Aditya Nath Sharma Managing Director Kasauli Resort By Piccadily

This was a perfect venue for a destination wedding. Amazing views, lovely weather, great rooms and delicious food.
The variety of the menu and everything on it was exceptional.
Pool side view looking over the hills and the lush green lawns were the perfect backdrop for all the wedding events.
The resort owner Gurpreet and his staff were very courteous and took extra measures to make it a memorable 2 day stay for all the wedding guests.

It’s an amazing resort for a holiday in the hills.

We were pleasantly surprised to get wonderfully furnished and comfortably air conditioned rooms. It was cold outside( 4 degrees C) , but the hotel was nice and warm.
They had organized a lovely bonfire, barbecue and dance floor too. The bar had everything one could ask for - from Single malt to liqueurs and it was ‘manned’ by pretty bar girls too!

We went to Kasauli Resort to celebrate the new year 2022 with friends. The decorations in the resort for new year and the view from the resort was nice other than that we had a pathetic experience.
The service in this resort is very sluggish. After requesting the staff for something they took a lot of time and repeated reminders to serve what was requested.
On the new year eve the anchoring host was very boring and did not have any plan to interest the guests and pay attention to their demands. All the music, bonfire, snacks & drinks etc. were stopped at exactly 12 am and was followed by tasteless food. It was a very worthless experience. Just felt cheated for our hard earned money. There are many other hotels in Kasauli. Will not recommend this resort to anyone.

Very costly food. From reviews we had planned to carry home food for one day. Hotel asked for Rs 550.00 to supply two serving plates and two bowls. It was unbelievable. Hotel staff informed it is our hotel policy. Never experienced such meanness. One should never visit it. There are number of very good new hotels. Whereas it is now old property.

We are staying here right now. The location is good, view from room is good but the quality of food is a big challenge here. We couldn't even finish our dinner, the dishes were stale or recycled from lunch's stuff. It's better that you should hv your food outside in case you choose to stay here.
