This is my 5th or 6th visit to this resort but the experience was not that great as it used to be. Firstly the staff is totally changed. We missed RK who was there for us always. Secondly and most importantly, the Christmas party was very dull. There were no games for kids unlike previous years. No Santa Claus to entertain the kids, the music closed at 10:15 pm. Nothing special but just 2 snacks for the 4 thousand charged extra for 25th. Kids were really disappointed and it would have been better to stay at home only. Hope the management takes appropriate steps to enhance the customer experience and provide value worth the amount charged.

We stayed in suit room. Initally booked base room after going through excellent reviews, but once we enterd in hotel, had no choice other than to make request for paid room upgradation. Inspite we stayed in TRANSFORMER facing suit room, there was frequent powercut and some time there was no power for half hrs. Hotel owner need to understand that rooms needed complete renovation. One can imaging the level of clening if you see fan blades in picture. Dampness was there on every corner of room.
Recreation room was not cleaned for years, hotel is using same as storage also.
If you leave property conditions, most of staff was
cordial, Breakfast was also testy.

Overall, reviews are overrated, seems manipulated
and most important it was overprised also.
Smell and overpricing is common isssue with most of Kasoli Hotels.

We were group of 04Women along with 2 Kids, Hotel location is good there is market area where you can buy stuff. Mall road is approx 3kms from this property you can hire a cab to go there and in return you can walk up to till property. Property is well maintained, Lovely Garden. They have kids zone also which is cherry on cake. If you are looking for kids entertainment you can go for this place. Staff is helpful, Food is tasty, Service is prompt, We loved out 02day stay. They offered us garden room which is wonderful. Sanju served us during our stay he seems very polite and helpful. Mr Kamlesh Thakur also helped us during our stay. Overall the stay was good and memorable. Only one thing which i feel to work on Check out timings since its very early but you request hotel staff if anything available they will let you stay there. But property seems fully booked on weekends.

The place is filthy and the location is pathetic. The views from the windows are looking into the rooms of nearby hotels. There is constant noice of honking and traffic. The coaches are dirty. We did not have the courage to taste the food. We left the place within an hour of check-in. They refunded a fractional amount of money.

Kasauli is so beautiful at this time of the year. Location of the Resort is so apt too.

Ive written in the past, local HImachali's really dont need any training for serving guests, it comes to them naturally. Staff was extremely courteous, food was really good as well.

Overall zero complaints, just that crowd mix on saturday evening was beyond hotel's control. Had become too loud and wild. Hotel staff did all they could to tone down rowdy people. I hope Management can address this better next time.

Regards,

I stayed at this place for 2 nights although the booking was for a 3 nights package.

On the second night, the owners of the Castle (they actually behave as if they are kings of a castle) got angry with us - abused, pushed around and slapped my accomplice who was totally innocent. His offence was that he entered the premises to deliver my medicines. And these guys were under the influence of alchohol.

If they are so in-secure they could have stopped him at the gate itself but they picked the poor man for beating when he was leaving. Despite our best efforts they did not stop from their criminal act. I wish I had the local police helpline number. But with my family and kids around I was so scared to take action in the night against such criminals.

When we checked out the next morning and asked for a refund for the third night - It was bluntly refused. In place of being apologetic, the owners/managers gave us the impression that they were actually happy that we were leaving early - leaving with them our money for the third night.

This is a robbing institute not a resort.

We visited this resort in the beginning of the year 2015. Everything in the resort was really very good. The food, the ambience and service was so good that you have to seriously put efforts to find anything complaining. Resort has many indoor activities: Pool table, Xbox are few to name among many. Location is also very good. I will definitely recommend this resort to families and couples who need a place for weekend getaway.

We have no lift / elevator at Kasauli Castle Resort. We have premium Dlx. rooms on ground floor with lawn / sitting area. Restaurent / dining area is also on ground floor. Premium Dlx. rooms (ground floor) are quite comfortable for aged persons and easiely accesible without any stairs. Thanks & Regards Guest Relation Manager Kasauli Castle Resort.

The hotel rooms are spacious and ok kept. Only few rooms have valley view which they charge extra otherwise the other rooms only have the garden view. For families it is ok but be mindful they have lots of stairs to climb as there is no elevator. Some indoor games like pool etc are available. Nothing much to do in the property itself as its rather small but you can walk around the quiet kasauli town. They do play movies in the garden in the evenings for family viewing where you can order food too, which is nice.
