3 Families went for trip. 6 adult 3 Child. 2 Night 3 day stay.
Rooms:
Room size was sufficient as per the price.
Rooms booked which include Breakfast and Dinner Both.
All the rooms have valley view and this will gives us a pleasure of natural scene beauty every morning which missed in Metro City.
Amenity in room are sufficient
Bathroom was clean and all basic amenities

Staff: Staff was very helping in every area accept hotel booking. Initially during booking i felt bit arrogant but once you reach hotel you will treat like chief guest of honour.

Food: I am vegetarian so will provide feedback accordingly. Food taste was good and best part is they are not that much spicy or oily or over cooked.
They have complete balanced meal and majorly have North Indian food along with some south Indian dishes in breakfast.
Moreover, they also suggest other items which was not a part of buffet. LIke for our kids they prepare Pasta, Icecream Sunday, etc.

Hotel Amenities : They have 2 different play area where you will Kids as well as adult playable sports like: Pool, Foosball, Carrom, badminton, chess, books, board games, kids puzzles games and many more.
They also have few bicycle which you can use for riding.
We all went in cars so they provided the safe car parkings and also help to clean my car as no car cleaning service was near by.

Kid Friendly: As mention above in hotel amenities, they have multiple activity from 1 year old kid to full adult. Moreover, location of hotel is like Kids will not leave hotel easily so your kids can safely roam without your worry.

Other things: They also help to arrange Bornfire.

They also help to tell which are good place to eat for lunch in Kasauli.

Attached a photo of view my room balcony hope it will help you.

WOW Experience!!! - I would like to say to my surprise the stay at the resort was one of my best experiences till date among all my travels visits in Mountains. The resort location is almost perfect with enough space for parking specially if one is doing the road trip. The quality of rooms and food (including breakfast and dinner) is class apart and tastes like home cooked quality food and variety. The property gives you some breathing taking view of mountains and valley for balcony and open terrace. The property has designated play area for kids and various activities like indoor activities such as carum, table tennis, pool (snooker), cycles for cycling and gym equipments (Gym is in making) and swings. We had amazing experience of 2nights stay at the resort. The staff is very courteous and standard of services are class apart and should specifically mention the Owner Mr Amit is is involved in day to day activities himself to ensure quality services are provided to each and every guest in the resort. I must say “It felt like home” and also to call out it feels special when your 11yr Son feels it was so amazing and rating the experience 5/5 means a lot. Special thanks to Mr Amit in making this stay a memorable one. And definitely if I am coming back to Kasauli again Forest Ville Resort is going to be my only choice as the kind of experience I received in my first ever visit to Kasauli.

Note: Remember the resort/property can only provide the experience you need, if we as guests also treat like home and ensure we treat it with care in ensuring the property is maintained for wow experience.

Regards,
Prakash Sadhwani

Excellent rooms and great service with a smile. I had booked this place for my parents aged 73 and 83 for 3 nights. They absolutely loved this hotel. They came with a car and driver who took them to nearby temples and the main market. There was also a very clear policy on driver stay and food at nominal charges. We would definitely stay again here.

I visited Kasauli with my family from the 16th - 19th and had the pleasure of staying at Forest Ville. Right from my first interaction with Amit on a very late night call enquiring if rooms were available (seeing that it is rated the no.1 hotel in Kasauli) to the day we left the hotel, the experience was better than most of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in.

The room was fairly large in size which was one of our concerns since we were traveling with a nanny for our baby. The bedroom was very tastefully done with an amazing view of the mountains and a balcony you could sit for hours and spend your time at if you wanted. Do remember to leave your keys at the reception if you plan on stepping out for the day as housekeeping is taken care of while you're away.

As far as the meals go, the breakfast spread was quite nice with a mix of juices, paranthas, sandwiches, boiled eggs, eggs to order as well as tea/coffee among other things. Having a good breakfast is essential to start off the day and we were very lucky to have stayed at Forest Ville.

We were traveling with our 2 year old and had ensured he had his toys collection lest he got bored. But to our surprise, there was a very good kids activity center which not only catered to babies and kids but also had things for adults like carrom, chess, scrabble, a few other board games and a pool table. Our baby hardly ever touched his own toys and was more than overjoyed to use the collection provided at the resort.

All thanks to Amit, we were able to make our trip to Barog station (cars can't be parked there) , so he suggested we go to a cafe at Barog where we could park our cars, eat a meal and from there take on taxis and other means of transport to reach the station.

We had planned our trip in such a way that we stayed during the weekdays, right after the long weekend of the Independence Day and we left before the next long weekend of Janamashtami. It made the experience even more personalised as we were given undivided attention, whether it came to the meals or other information regarding the hangout places or drive from Kasauli to other locations.

I would just like to end it by saying that whenever you are in Kasauli, do check out his hotel for the meals, the views and a new found friend in Amit with whom you can have a conversation just about anything and everything.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Forestville Resort in Kasauli. We have visited Kasauli many times, and this was probably the best one so far! The hotel is extremely well maintained, clean and hygienic rooms and well stocked bathrooms. They have beautiful upholstery in the rooms as well as in the dining area. The staff was really helpful and absolutely adept at their jobs! Mr. Amit who runs the management of the hotel is probably the best thing about this resort. He is always standing on attention, mindful of the minutest of details. He is always around, making sure smooth operation of the hotel. Finally, the food!! They have such a beautiful spready of homely cooked food, served piping hot. They have a variety of options in all meals and the food is absolutely scrumptious. They are also willing to make any adjustments you need, in case of any allergies or restrictions. They also have a play room for kids. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kasauli!!

This is my first trip to Himachal along with my family. I had gone through all good hotels with their reviews and video’s on social media and finally book this amazing resort. Hotel employees are well mannered, punctual and thorough gentleman and one very sweet lady. Resort ambiance is great along with big green lawn with a beautiful mountain site view. Hygiene issues was properly taken care of. Food was amazing . Hotel manager MR Amit was very helpful as far as baby food and sanitisation was concerned in view of the fact that I was carrying my 2year old daughter. My family had a great time here and i will recommend this hotel honestly specially if you are carrying kids with you.

We spent two nights in Forest Ville resort Kasauli. Property is very nice and well maintained. Rooms are cozy . Furniture is well maintained. Washrooms are clean. Hot water available 24 hours . Every room has a balcony and view is beautiful towards a valley filled with pine trees

Location is good . Around 4 km from Kasauli mall road entry point. Parking for car in the hotel is available and basic amenities for drivers is also there.

Pandemic protocols are followed very well. They serve lunch and dinner in the room in the current situation and breakfast is served in a slot wise fashion so that too many people do not crowd.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. Sometimes service is slightly slow but looking at the current situation that is totally understandable.

Food has limited choice but it is tasty and fresh . Rates are reasonable. Breakfast Spread is sufficient, good in taste and freshly prepared.

Overall a pleasant stay for 2 nights with family . Definitely recommended.

Travelled with small kids and no hot water was available. No housekeeping services were available when requested some cleaning in our room. The staff has no training/experience in hospitality industry. For For anything you ask for, the reception will revert that they in care of it in 5 minutes and they will never bother calling you back or fix the problem and wont even tell you that the problem cant be fixed. Compared to quality of services, the prices are obnoxiously high.

No Hot Water , Pathetic , Obnoxiously High Prices , Unfit staff etc are your valuable observations for all the hotels you have reviewed on Tripadvisor . It seems none of the properties have been able to satisfy you except for a Haryana Tourism hotel which you felt was easy on the pocket . My humble request to you sir is to kindly go for budget properties if you are looking for a economical stay . Rest all that has been said is not true . Inconvinience Caused is Deeply Regretted.

Dear Mr. Tuli There aren't any guest engagement activities as such. However, there is a bonfire lit in the lawns of the resort in the evenings, to the accompaniment of music in the backdrop. To make it more inviting, the staff serves snacks, drinks and table is laid for dinner too, as desired by the guests. Also, there is a game zone with billiards, chess, carrom, etc. which keep adults and kids engaged. I hope you find it useful.
