We booked this hotel because it had a restaurant, thus saving the trouble of finding somewhere to eat after a long day travelling. Although we booked by phone, no mention was made of the fact that the restaurant would be closed that evening. Breakfast is supplied, but not in the hotel. It is in a cafe about 500m away, (not 300m as we were told). The free wifi did not work throughout our stay, even though we reported it the the person on duty, who said he would come to our room to sort it out, but went home instead. As we are in our 70's, it would have been courteous to be offered some help with our cases. After we had found somewhere to eat in a nearby town, it would have been pleasant to have had a had a drink in the bar before going to bed. No such luck!

Only Minutes away from Barga, Close to the big caves. 1/2hr from Lucca. Not too far from Pisa, Florence. Clean, quiet (back rooms), nice view, very friendly staff. Great value. Restaurant has good food. Would stay there again
