I haven't stayed here, so I cannot comment on the bedrooms. From what I saw, I probably wouldn't take the wife. I can, however comment on the breakfast, which for all I could eat, with a pint of bottled bitter (one component of a breakfast of champions) was £7. Everything was great, and it set me up for a day...

Thank you so much for your review, hopefully the breakfast will tempt you to stay over when next visiting the Leeds area. We do have double en-suite rooms, give us a try! Thanks again. All the best, Mark and the team

My son and I stayed for bed and breakfast on 6 August checking in late after noon. The room was clean twin bedded with TV and a small wash stand, and although the room was small it was quite adequate. After a bar meal in a local pub, we returned to have some games of pool and a coupe of...

Reading through other reviews I find I agree with those who said that the staff are great, the young, fair haired man on the reception desk couldn't have been more helpful. The older man on checkout struggled to hide his world-weariness but no complaints about this hotel. It is old hat but the bed was comfortable and I slept well....

I can't remember the last time I paid £28 for a room! Basic, yes, some updating/ tlc is needed ( more communal areas & stairs) but overall a great little b n b for basic needs. My single room was clean, comfortable bed clean white sheets. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Clean towels and handily to have...

Stayed here for a stag due for one night. Manager and staff where polite and helpful.Arrived early but was allowed to leave bags in our uncleaned room which was in the basement and stunk of mould and sweat. Came back later and room was clean, bedding clean and smelt better. Had to share bathroom and toilet with 2 other rooms...

Staff very polite and willing to help. Location is good. But the overall level of cleanliness in the quad room is a disgrace. Paint flaking from walls. Skirting boards missing. Plaster missing. But worst of all is the rooms position in the hotel. It is directly Below the kitchen, you can hear every single footstep and word spoken. I found...

...you like windowless dungeons (minus any Medieval charm) ...you are into authentic 1970's downmarket hotel decor ...you hate real coffee at breakfast and seek out instant ...you are not fussy about fire exits anyway ...you are studying for a PhD in fungi and moulds... ...or other people's mating noises through tissue walls ...you can face a 1:30am room change when...

Stayed here for the England cricket match at headingley stadium. The hotel could not be better placed for that. It's ideal for a bunch of lads on the beer for the night but that's as far as it goes. Do not take your wife here! The place is very very very tired. In desperate need of some investment. The staff...

I can't be disrespectful in this review. My wife and I used this hotel for a business trip based on price and location and you honestly get what you pay for.......on approach to the hotel if I hadn't pre-paid I would have driven straight past and looked for an alternative!!!!!! However I'm glad I didn't........I have now learnt not to...

Hotel is ok for the price, reasonable breakfast, good parking. Quad Room is appalling and shoudn't be being sold to paying customes. Two major problems: No heating, just a sign promising the radiator will be fixed... I wonder how long that's been there. Secondly. noise - the room is below the staff quarters and kitchen and the noise of people...
