Having tickets for a band a the nearby legendary Brudenell Social Club we thought this hotel would be a good location and had good reviews. We weren't disappointed. It is found at the end of a cul de sac- a rather faded Victorian pile, but I'm quite glad it has kept original features like the sash windows, high ceilings and...

Firstly I would stay here again. it is very tranquil the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfasts excellent. The building infrastructure is on the edge of becoming an issue with the beginnings of damp from roof and windows. however we had no problem with warmth or cleanliness. I was on the cusp of a VG rating but have...

This hotel is not located in Leeds city centre, so you need to access by own car or public transport. Even by bus, it is not convenient considering it is far from main road with bus services. However, the location was quiet and safe, nearby dozens of student accommodation. The hotel has its own garden and was kept very clean....

The published email address was no longer valid. Likewise, the welcome book was quite out of date. There is no longer a bar and the wifi code has changed. For the price, the room was a disappointment. We have had much better in Yorkshire, for less. The valance on the bed was dirty, the bathroom door was just a mass...

Turned up and thought oh god. But the rooms are comfortable, parts of the hotel are tired and others are brand new. The wifi worked fine and was quite quick. Staff seemed friendly. Can't comment on breakfast as working locally and missed breakfast. If you want a comfortable, cheap stay then you should be happy here.

A fairly imposing building which unfortunately was let down by a few flaws. There was some fairly substantial damp in one corner of our room which obviously wasn't recent from the marks on the wall. The free wi-fi couldn't be used in our room as the signal didn't reach, this was apparently being looked into. The shower which was well...

We arrived and were instantly taken aback by the grandeur of the building. The staff were all friendly and the room was huge and very clean. The shower was lovely also! We only stayed one night, but we would definitely stay again and most likely for longer next time!

As a young couple we only stayed one night when going to a concert at first direct arena, it was nice and friendly with a wonderful waitress that did breakfast this morning. The place itself does the job and they have bigger rooms than expected. Only thing is they offer WiFi which did not actually work. It was A lovely...
