Scotland and August do not mix and then as if by magic Jutta's B&B appeared through the evening mist, what a wonderful relief, not only to find a vacant B&B but to have such a wonderful cottage on the edge of the sea. Remarkably quiet and just what you want in a B&B, great.

Very friendly, really good breakfast and a super view from the bedroom window. Although we were right on the A9 you wouldn't think so as there is hardly any noise and traffic is light at night. We only stayed one night on then road to the Pentland Ferry this would make a nice base for a holiday in the area.

We spent one night here whilst driving the north coast 500 route. The hosts were very pleasant especially as we had accidentally booked the wrong date so turned up 2 days late! They were very accommodating of our dog also and advised us where was good to walk him and offered towels should he get wet in the sea. The...

The service was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are very basic, bedlinen smelled like cigarette smoke despite no-smoking-policy, bare light bulbs on display, DVDs not helpful for me as I am not travelling far to spend time watching DVDs.

My Wife, and two teen age sons spotted Jutta's B & B as we drove on the road leading to John O'Groats, nearly the northernmost point in Scotland. It was on the road but it looked charming and had a wonderful view of the water. We went inside and met Bernard, who runs the B & B with his wife...

We stayed at Jutta's B&B in September this year and it was great. The views from the rooms are great (sea view) and the rooms were clean and comfortable! Our hosts were very helpful and gave us advice on restaurants and sights in the area. Breakfast was plenty (we even got a vegetarian option). We'd love to stay there again!...

“Thought the B & B is right alongside the road it truly is charming. There was no traffic noise whatsoever as it's an old stone B & B with thick walls. Also - there's a lovely heater in the rooms!! What a plus!!”
