My wife and I stayed at Stablegrove guest house over the August bank holiday weekend, whilst we attended a wedding in the area. There is only one word that describes this establishment and that is EXCELLENT. You could not wish for a more homely and welcoming place to stay. It is quiet and in an ideal setting, the only thing...

This B&b is absolutely excellent. From the moment we arrived Claire made us so welcome. She served us tea and coffee in the guest lounge and was so hospitable. We stayed in the Burrington room which was bright and airy and the bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. The breakfast is great, a really good choice with all...

Stablegrove is cosy, sophisticated and comfortable in the same sentence. Claire and Malcolm are perfect hosts and made our stay very special. We have enjoyed the goats and the lamas and Wilson, the friendly retriever, gave us a tour of the forest. We have been enchanted by this very special place.

We returned again this year to spend a couple of days in the Wrington area where I was attending a warm glass workshop, locally. Claire is the perfect hostess and we were very well looked after. The little extra luxuries, like the nightcap of port in the cozy sitting room by the log fire, was much appreciated. Breakfasts were fantastic...

I recently visited this B&B with six friends and we all really enjoyed our stay. Stablegrove is a beautiful home and set in a wonderful location. We all felt very welcome and were able to treat the B&B like a home. I highly recommend Stablegrove to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful, warm & welcoming stay. The rooms were very...

This B&B has everything you need, and more... Me and my girlfriend together with our 7 month old son stayed there in July 2014 for 3 nights. We were there with some friends to go to a wedding, and figured lets live at a good price at a charming place. It turned out to be much more than that... It...

We stayed here last autumn and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hosts, the location, the rooms and the breakfast were all to a very high standard. It was so much more personal than the average hotel and very efficient, which goes to prove a business with the proprietors running the project themselves is so much more preferable to the soulless...

So many good things to say. Claire was very helpful and welcoming. Stablegrove is a charming house in a peaceful location, surrounded by fine scenery. Relaxing seating outdoors. Our room was very comfortable. Lovely decor. Plenty of choice for breakfast, both for healthy and traditional choices. Excellent value.

We spent a lovely weekend visiting the area for a wedding. We were fortunate to stay at this wonderful b&b. It is beautifully located, nicely decorated with grate taste. The best bed I have ever slept in besides my own, and lovely food was served with greater care. The service was excellent and I would definitely be coming back.

I would start off by saying this is a real 'home from home', but in my case it's better than home. In a picturesque village, rural but close to Bristol and a beautiful building to boot, first impressions are very good. Inside, the house has been beautifully and tastefully restored, with great attention to detail. The guest lounge has a...
