Nice big bedroom with a king size bed, bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Nice powerful shower. Chairs and table with bottles of water, but no tea or coffee making facilities. Evening meal wasn't cheap. Fantastic breakfast! Everything you could want for breakfast and cooked to order. Very reasonable price on a Travelzoo deal.

4 night stay on special B&B deal. Service was exceptional from the first contact with Reception to the restaurant staff and cleaning service staff. All friendly and efficient. Room large clean and comfortable, Wi-Fi good. The old hall part of the building is full of character, lounges with open fires, and very relaxed feel. Breakfasts good quality and good choice....

What a place, in the middle of nowhere. Lovely ambiance. Very nicely done rooms. Good bar food. Unbelievable breakfast spread. Ludicrously low price. I stayed here on business, but would happily bring my wife here to enjoy. Nice local town worth visiting and a great base for hiking the local hills.

Have tried this for an afternoon tea but will not return. Sandwiches were not fresh. Must have already been made and stood. Two small pieces of cake - drizzle cake and a chocolate brownie. Expensive for what you received.

The hotel was advertised as pet friendly, we also rang ahead to confirm that dogs were allowed so we booked one night DB&B On arrival the reception was crammed with people booking in, booking out and a person booking a wedding for next year. All this with one harassed member of staff. My wife queued to book in while I...

On arrival the reception was fab, the ladies behind the desk were Very informative, and we were given the room key straight away, we dropped our bags in and want for a delicious afternoon tea, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and good old Yorkshire tea. Feeling rather full and tired after our journey we went for a lie down,...

Stayed at Gisborough Hall Hotel for a friend's wedding. The whole wedding day was great from ceremony to meal to night do! I also stayed overnight and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of my room - comfy bed, everything I needed in the room & big bathroom. Was particularly impressed with the breakfast service the next day with the...

Took my mum here for a short break and she absolutely loved it. The building is beautiful and in very attractive countryside. The main rooms in the house are gorgeous - we sat drinking wine and playing cards until late. Breakfast atmosphere was really excellent with a very good selection of food and very polite and down-to-earth staff.

Booked an overnight stay at Gisborough Hall via Travelzoo. We were lucky enough to take advantage of our deal for Valentine's evening. The deal was afternoon tea in arrival. We did not receive this and we were not offered it either. However we had already decided we did not want it so it didn't matter. Our room was lovely -...

We had a one night break here in January over a weekend. The hotel was especially busy with wedding guests, but this didn't affect the service or atmosphere in the hotel. Guisborough Hall is well located and we found lots of things to do nearby and also many places you could visit within a short car drive too. The hotel...
