Obviously a nice building and our suite room was massive with a four poster bed. Perhaps more could be shared of the building's history to offer more of a connection with the environment before sitting down to an a la carte meal, which was very good although small. The staff were excellent though. May be a live pianist would warm...

Couldn't fault anything. Large bright room. Food and wine was excellent but the best thing was the staff. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Set in gorgeous grounds and combines the best of traditional and modern.

I took my daughter for her birthday. It was chill time. We started with check in which was swift and friendly. A young man took us to our room. On entering I noticed the lovely king sized bed... I had contacted them previously to ensure we got twin beds... There was no problem the lovely young man ( I forget...

We booked a woodland room but decided to upgrade to a room in the main hotel. The room was brightly decorated, very clean. Excellent shower and separate bath and a very comfortable bed. The hotel itself is amazing and so are the staff. Everyone of them was helpful, pleasant and couldn't be nicer. We ate in in the restaurant the...

I had the sudden inspiration of a weekend in the North Yorkshire Moors - never been there before, hotel appeared outstanding, and more importantly dog friendly as we were bringing our dog Oscar Germanicus (OG), a West Highland Terrier, who we regard as the most docile, well trained and frequently talked about as the best dog in the world! I...

Lovely hotel in a splendid building. We had a room in the main building, with 2 big windows overlooking the grounds. Room was of above average size with all the 'extras' and more that you would expect. The staff were excellent and the breakfast selection was very good.

Lovely country house hotel in North Yorkshire, a few miles from Whitby. Enjoyed a calming mini-break in a spacious room. Staff are warm and friendly. Hotel is slightly let down by the restaurant.....very small portions of not particularly great food....
