Two lovely nights in a themed room in this romantic luxury hotel with dinner both evenings. Its an Impressive hotel with equally impressive food, but the continual up and down stairs was a challenge for we oldies, even though we were on the first floor. A lift would be appreciated.

Went here for a spa weekend (itison deal). first thing was myself and my friend checking in and the receptionist saying 'this room is a double - will that be a problem? I mean each to their own I dont have a problem with it. I can make it a twin if you prefer? I mean if you dont want...

We spent Easter Sunday at the castle and were impressed with the level of service the staff provided during this short but very enjoyable break. Our room was at the very top of the castle (room 23) and was very adequate. A lovely 'wee' Easter egg pressie awaited us too which was a kind thought from the hotel. Evening meal...

With due pleasure and appreciation we are delighted to offer some feedback as in reference to our recent stay. We loved the facilities and the condition in which are kept, thus you should be proud for having taken great care for it. The room (Victoria’s) was huge and much pleasant, we did enjoy it. Upon arrival we had a wonderful...

Arrived at 2pm and checked in and were allowed straight to our room which was spacious and very cosy and had spectacular views. We then decided to go to the Spa which was well equipped and well worth a visit. The Library Bar was quirky as you couldn't actually see the bar!!It was very relaxed and had a nice ambience....

The castle has an interesting history. Enjoyed sitting in the library and visiting with other guests. The room seemed much overpriced for what it was. Breakfast was good. One of my least favored places to stay during my travels.

Sadly Dalhousie Castle is getting a bit tired but still worth a visit as you can get some good deals. We went for one night including lunch and breakfast. The lunch was ok, cream tea with lots of cakes. We ordered wine which was not cold so we asked for a different one which was also too warm. We were...

We booked a 3 night break quite last minute to here and then read the reviews that there were. So we went with an open mind not expecting much to be honest. Well... they have either worked very hard to turn things round, we got lucky and had a great stay or the other reviewers were just unlucky. We arrived...

Stayed here on an overnight hop as a base for visiting nearby Rosslyn Chapel (de vinci code fame) and was not disappointed with the place. Full of history, interesting furniture, faded tapestries and the occasional creaky floorboard, Dalhousie had a fun feel about it for me. Service was excellent, pre-dinner cocktails in the library before dinner in the warm cosy...

What a wonderful place to stay. Lots of twist and turns throughout the Castle. The Spa has great treatments for a reasonable price. Very relaxing place to stay away from it all. Great selection of meals available through the day.
