Great hotel, lovely service and lovely breakfast at the pub attached to the hotel. Really great location for where I needed to go Ann beautiful scenery around the area 😀. Will definitely be staying here again when I am in the area
Comfortable, clean accommodation offered at fair price. Plenty of on-site car parking. Excellent, secure access to rooms. Easy access to good pub next door offering extensive menu and good choice of beer
Visiting family in Bristol Easy access from motorways without getting caught in Bristol We have used the hotel x2 a year for some time. The adjoining pub/restaurant is poor. Looks neglected and the food is nothing special. needs some money spending on it.
Fantastic staff. Kelly and tracey went out their way to help when we had car issues . They helped keep children happy , they gave me reassurance and went out the way to get someone to come help my husband . Fantastic customer service Highly recommend . We will definitely return
hotel was great, the staff were really friendly and helpful, our friends we came with had troubles with their car and the staff could not be any more helpful we tried to jump the car with our car but as we have a small car and theirs was a big car we struggled with it but the staff even helped with that and called their partner and he came to help jump the car. the staff were absolutely amazing and the rooms were clean and tidy with comfy beds as well all round 10/10 trip! location was also good for what we needed it for! and easy to find.
I stayed here as it was close to where I was having mhy wedding reception and we had a number of family and friends all wanting to stay over for the wedding. I had not mentioned at the time of the booking for my stay but when I checked in it became evident has I had to give my new wifes' new name. The staff were very pleasant and congratulated me and even left a small gift on each of my nights stay. I stayed the night prior to my wedding as "tradition" and also to be with family and friends who were travelling from other parts of the country.
It’s like Premier inn has forgot they own this place. Everything is tired and worn out. The car park is grotty and the hotel equally as bad. The bathroom was generally very tired, the silicon was mouldy, tiles were cracked, there was off brand soaps, and the ventilation fan hadn’t been cleaned for years - thus making it noisy. The bedroom needed properly redecorating and the windows cleaning. Most annoying was the free Wi-Fi speed - 0.41 mbps which is painfully slow - why do premier inn insist on making you pay another £5 to use the internet at any reasonable speed; it’s not 2005 anymore!
Great hotel, good price and nice quiet location. Staff were very friendly especially Anna on reception who checked us in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Lovely pub/restaurant on site and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again.
The location and value of the hotel gives me the option to visit friends in Thornbury with ease. We are a family of 5 and we had the best time in our spacious room. Although we were out for most of the day, we all looked forward to retreating to the hotel room to chill out. The staff were extremely accomodating both in the hotel and The Ship Inn next door! Planning on booking the week leading up to Christmas and the value is tempting us to stay longer than intended!
Very good bed at a good price. Unfortunately no catering on site, and we had prior knowledge of this from Premier Inn. Avoid Ship Inn next door for evening meal and breakfast. it will mean getting in the car for your cooked food.
