Just returned from a Scottish trip, we stayed at three great hotels. Boreland Lodge was not one of them, it was the most expensive and had the least facilities, the place is in a state of significant decline. When we booked breakfast was included, when we arrived it was not. It is the kind of place where you do not...

This hotel is basically no better than a hostel, almost worse in fact as a hostel would have more facilities. This hotel is in a good location close to inverkeithing train station making it cheap and easy to get into Edinburgh without paying city centre prices. The neighbourhood is nice too, quiet, however lots of guests with noisy dogs while...

Booked through company, but will be contacting the booking company to get this place removed from our system. Phoned ahead to say that we would be late arriving to be told that we would find our keys left on reception because it closes at 9pm. Got there to be greeted by a gentleman for whom everything was too much trouble,...

For £85 a night, you get given NO breakfast, literally beds, no floor space, stained toilet seats, stained bath towels, grey pillow cases (which clearly used to be white). Booked a room for 3 and got given 2 cups, 2 towels. The place is gloomy, no atmosphere, grudged paying for this place. None of the staff asked how was your...

We have stayed here twice and the rooms have always been nice. Staff are friendly and helpful when we've checked in or out. You get what you pay for and the rooms tend to be on the small side, that being said the rooms have always been clean and they're fine for a night or two. We refused one room...

I stayed for one night only for a family party. The room (10) was clean and tidy and warm but small the ensuite was ok but the hot water took ages to get hot no breakfast included for £80 so very expensive for what I got. Near the station and family so won't complain but would stay again if I...

To whom it may concern, How do you allow the most disgusting properties like Boreland Lodge Hotel in Inverkeithing. As you will see from my booking number, I have stayed there 2 nights should be there another 2 but left. The reason I was there was to meet up with 3 of my cousins to go to a family funeral....
