Booked a couple of nights b&b for a spot of luxury after a week's self-catering, and were not disappointed. Very good meals at breakfast and evening, friendly and attentive staff, accommodation set apart from the pub but it worked well and quite comfy and clean, although the area round the shower was a bit scruffy, parking on two levels was... stayed in the lodge accommodation for 3 nights. Very impressed. Rooms were spacious and have to say our room was spotless. Towels changed daily and tea and coffee replenished daily. Breakfasts were freshly made and very good. Had dinner on our first night and it was great! Staff were friendly and helpful and i would recommend.

This was our second visit and it was just as good as the first. Helpful staff, delicious evening meal and a slap up breakfast, all for a very reasonable price. Super handy hotel for visiting offspring at Hull university. See you again soon!

We held an 80th birthday party here and were very impressed with organisation from start to finish. Every detail was taken care of and the little suggestions Lynn made helped the party go without a hitch. As always at The Fergie the food was fabulous and all of our guests had a great time. Thank you to Lynn and all... More

Now I know the title of this sounds rubbish but I honestly loved the food. The food was amazing. I ordered the soup of the day which was leek and potato, this was good as far as soup goes. I had the chicken Sunday roast for main - well this was delicious!! The chicken was half a herb rubbed chicken... More

I ate here yesterday for the 1st time in many years and was very pleasantly surprised, the place is very nicely set out and the customer service was 2nd to none . I was there with family and friends and i ordered the scampi and chips . The scampi was the real deal and not the usual reformed fish. The... More

OK, so where do I start. I'm not a fan of TripAdvisor, because we are all different and have varying expectations. I don't use it for opinions, nor do I leave feedback. However, I had to make an exception on this occasion. The accommodation is set away from the public house, which is great - there was a wedding reception... More

Have been in on a number of occasions for breakfast with the children after walking the dogs, always on a Saturday or Sunday. The service is excellent, the waitresses are really helpful, not intrusive and very good at chatting tongue children. The food is excellent, the pastries are delicious. I've had the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which are lovely... More

Firstly, we were grateful for the easy access room in the Lodge which was just by the car park as we have mobility issues. Comfortable and clean room but unsure as to whether the heating would actually work if needed as the thermostat on the room radiatior seemed to be only connected to a tangle of loose wires.... Like others... More
