Had a lovely stay here. The room was modern and very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and both the dinner and breakfast were superb. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this part of the peaks

We visited the Bulls Head as we're staying near by. Only stayed for a drink however it was cute, and everyone seemed friendly. The pub had an inviting atmosphere and the menu on the blackboards looked tasty!

We had a fantastic walking weekend in the Peak District. The room was really good and the pub was really dog friendly. The food was very goodl , reasonably priced and a wide choice of starters and main courses. We didn't try desserts as too full by that stage each time. Our Chocolate Labrador made lots of friends! Will definitely...

We (two oldies) had a one-night stopover based on the pub's web site. However, the site does the pub an injustice by including only the bar menu: the Specials board is both extensive and truly special - delicious nosh. We stayed on a Friday night, which turned out to have live music. It was excellent but, as it went on...

Really comfy bed (I like mine in the firm side). Food was good (we were there on 'pie night') and a decent choice of fine ales. A nice unpretentious village pub with a good welcome.

Came here on my birthday, with my wife, for a night away. Pretty village in The Peaks, but was beautifully misty so actually saw bugger all! Didn't mind at all, made the whole experience that bit more exotic, and the real fire burning in the bar that bit more appealing. Friendly staff and landlord, attentive and professional. Large mixed menu,...

We used to go the the Bull's Head years ago before it became the Lazy Landlord and then reverted to its original name. Our family visit this time was pre-booked and we arranged to be able to bring in a dog to stay with us by the table. The staff could not have been more helpful in helping arrange this....

Had a fantastic couple of days here, great room, lovely food and friendly staff. Foolow is a beautiful place to spend a few days walking. The pub is very dog friendly and our beagle loved it. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at this friendly B & B last night. They have just three rooms but the room we stayed in was very comfortable, large and spotlessly clean. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were excellent - tasty and well prepared. The family who run this pub were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had our dog with us...
