A super location. The hotel is splendid and the manager (Kevin) was great. We had a long chat about the Lodge, which used to be the Accommodation of the Officer Commanding RAF Duxford. (A big player in the Battle of Britain and the featured aerodrome in the film "Battle of Britain"). A nice room with comfy bed. Looking forward to...

My first room smelt like a charity shop so i asked to be moved, which a very nice young lady did without question. My second room was in dire need of some love and attention. The wall paper was coming off the wall, taps broken, and was generally in poor condition. After a long journey I needed a cup of tea,...

We used the hotel's meeting room, mainly because of the location, and were extremely pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful setting in its own gardens and grounds with lawns, seating arbours covered in climbing flowers, and planted beds - all very well kept. The hotel has more than ample car parking within the grounds. Every area of the hotel...

Set in a super quiet location, this hotel is a lovely old building surrounded by gardens. The hotel is under new ownership by a very enthusiastic guy who has plans to improve the place. Friendly, helpful staff. The bedrooms are a good size but the bathrooms could do with being brought up to date - everything was really clean. The...

Struggling to find accommodation on a busy weekend in Cambridge we managed to find 2 rooms in this delightful hotel. Kevin the manager was very apologetic that our rooms had not been refurbished but we were so grateful that didn't matter. No apology was needed, yes the room was a little tired but the welcome we received and the hospitality...

We booked this hotel last minute, was really impressed from first sight. We arrived late greated with a friendly receptionist. The room was very comfy and pleasant. Breakfast could not be faulted. The owners were very friendly and told us some of the history. Would certainly stay again.

I stayed at the Duxford Lodge for one night as I needed to be in Cambridge early the next morning. In a nutshell; bathroom was dirty and had limescale everywhere and was very outdated, the walls were thin and I could hear everything the room next door to me had to say until the early hours of the morning and...
