I telephoned to check availability and was greeted politely and friendly and booked room, when we arrived the receptionist was very pleasant and informative. Our bedroom was clean, tidy and comfortable, when we went to the restaurant for breakfast we were really surprise on how good this was. The team were helpful and friendly including suggestions on where to eat...

We booked this hotel last minute, was really impressed from first sight. We arrived late greated with a friendly receptionist. The room was very comfy and pleasant. Breakfast could not be faulted. The owners were very friendly and told us some of the history. Would certainly stay again.

I stayed at the Duxford Lodge for one night as I needed to be in Cambridge early the next morning. In a nutshell; bathroom was dirty and had limescale everywhere and was very outdated, the walls were thin and I could hear everything the room next door to me had to say until the early hours of the morning and...

We stayed at the Duxford Lodge for 3 nights with our best friends to visit Cambridge and the IWM. If I'm being honest we did nearly cancel after reading some of the negative reviews and because of what we'd read we were concerned about what we'd find when we arrived. There was no need to be concerned everything is fine....

Stayed for one night as a family of 3. Were upgraded on arrival so we were next door to our sons room which was a lovely touch. We were actually visiting the imperial war museum and were told by 'kevin' how Duxford lodge used to be the camp commanders residence and told us a bit of the history. Cooked breakfast...

A mediochre hotel. My room was a single room booked for a one night overnight stay. I won't be going back. The room was of poor quality. The furnishings were a little dated, by at least two decades. The bed mattress was weak, and I sunk about a foot when I sat on it. When I sat on the arm...

Not sure how to review this hotel I arrived and the person on duty was clearly involved with someone else, maybe booking another event. I felt awkward, like I was intruding. Not great My room. Room 1 was nice. Very warm, I turned the rads off It was confusing that the hotel advertises a restaurant but don't actually do anything...

  • These were the rugs. Worn, frayed and stained. Essentially walking on cement.
  • The bathroom vanity. Sorry I forgot to snap a photo of the critters that shared my room.
  • The only somewhat modern amenity was about to fall from the ceiling
