Stayed in April in one of the new barn rooms over the beck from the main hotel and bar. Room spacious and comfortable and warm - Drying room for those walking plus a dog wash. Barn has own lounge with tea and coffee and a log burner - which was appreciated as the days where wet and blowy Restaurant and...

We spent the weekend in Malham, quite a lot of the afternoon drinking in this lovely pub. The staff where very friendly and the lager was really good. Open fire made it a really cosy place to sit, be warm & relax. Will certainly return.

We had a lovely stay at the lister arms this weekend. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the breakfast was great. We had a massive bed as we chose the twin with the option of having the 2 beds made together - a good option if you want the cheaper room with a big bed! I slept so...

Loved the new bedroom. Food first class as normal. Dog loved the fire after a cold wet walk and appreciated the excellent touch of the free dog mats!!! Staff so friendly and welcoming as always. Can't wait to come back!

A small double room but equipt with everything you need. En-suite with a shower, drink making facilities, TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as plenty of storage should you need it. Dogs are made welcome and this hotel is very popular with dog owners, including myself. I don't like the smell of wet dog but the room showed...

It was mothers day weekend and the sun was shining so we was very lucky. Meet and great was as expected and show to our room. Cant really fault...

Just spent a weekend in this inn and it was pretty near perfect-even the weather. We stayed in one of the new rooms in Lister Barn which was comfortable and very well appointed. Lots of nice extra touches-torch, umbrella, hot water bottle, tea cosy. The lounge area in the barn is excellent-very comfortable with endless supplies for guests to make...

We have just stayed at the Lister for two nights after reading fellow TA reviews. We chose the Barn extension which was well appointed but probably not worth the £145 a night charge. Indeed we were allocated the disabled room 22 which we were not told about when booking. If we had we would have chosen differently. Having read that...

Had an enjoyable weekend at the listers arms. Our room was in the listers barn which was brilliant. This fairly new addition to the hotel is very welcoming and cosy. The setting is peaceful despite the few doggie friends around. The food was of a good standard and plentiful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would recommend and will be...
