Stayed in a studio apartment during unseasonably warm weather patch in early June. The location is ok. If you are headed to Barolo area for wine tasting, I suggest you may want something a bit closer to that area as this is a good 20-30 minute drive to the centre of the Barolo region. The studio apartment pictures aren’t on...

Apart from its traditional rooms in the main building, this small Hotel Albergo Castiglione comprises an architectural pearl of a contemporary house with trendy indoor design. It's located on a hilltop in the middle of a vineyard, featuring both a lovely garden AND the most stunning views of the fascinating Piedmont soft hills from its many big windows. Built from...

Stayed with friends in May, 2015. Our friends had previously stayed here 3 nights in October, 2014, and they invited us to go back with them. We couldn't have found a nicer place. Other reviews speak well of the Albergo and its staff, so we won't repeat their kind comments, except to say that the staff are delightful and could...

We can only agree with our previous reviewers: a very nice place to stay. We had a spacious "business" room with access to the covered balcony on the second floor. The only small disappointment was the rather dim light in the room due to the arcades in front of the room. Otherwise just perfect. Also the breakfast was outstanding in...

We stayed at the room in the vineyard. Only five minutes away from the main hotel and in middle of a vineyard surrounded by vines. Large modern self catering apartment. Each apartment has some outside space with sun lounger and chairs. The small pool is shared but not overlooked by any of the apartments.

We have just stayed 4 days at this wonderfull hotel, where Claudia and her always freindly and smiling staff did everything to please the guests. We almost felt us as part of the family. They have a pool area with a Picturesque view over the walley. A fantastic stay where you are sad to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We rented the Apartment San Bovo, located in the House in the Vineyard - what an apartment and what a great place! The house itself is situated in such a perfect spot, with amazing 360-degree views of the valley and hilltop towns. We loved our drives through the vineyards and were constantly freaked out about...

The albergo castiglione is operated by the Saracco family, which is also the main moscato wine producer in the area, so don't miss to ask for factory tour and take some bottles home. The hotel also offer some apartments with fuly equipped kitchen, perfect if you want to be independent. Easy day trip distance to Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco, great view...

We stayed for a five days and enjoyed it tremendously. The hotel is located in a fairly sleepy city providing a great scene for relaxing and enjoying neighboring cities and restaurants. The rooms are nice, elegant and reasonably prices. The service and the helpfulness of the staff is extraordinary helping out with any task including restaurant booking. The pool located...
